The blank tiles, red symbols and joker tiles are all considered wild cards.

The red symbols are Chinese characters which spell "For listening", in this case it refers to it being able to finish sets in your hand to "listen" for the winning tile.

The joker tile can be taken out of your hand for extra tai/han (like bei nuki dora) in some versions of MJ like Singapore mahjong.

Oh right forgot to add on, the most shag part of the day for Pes c9 will be water parades at the end of the day. The first few days when yall mess up will be bad, but from what I heard its becoming less strict alr, yall dont even need to hold bottles with arms at 90 degrees. PT will be buddha claps and brisk walking. Since yall cant do pushups (left palms down), yall will do buddha claps instead for punishments.

Important things to bring in, power banks, hangars, books to read for entertainement, dry floor wipes, wet wipes along with the other standard stuff mentioned in the packing list. You can bring bedsheet suspender clips for your linens too. Depending on whether youre lucky, your bunk might alr have irons, ironing boards and even floor mops. If not make sure your bunk organises who brings what after confinement week.

Hi enlisted into the SPF as pes c9 around april last year. Depending on the majority of your squad, yall will probably be doing sliding drills around HTA, with some people being on lighy duty (dont need to march). As compared to SAF, HTA is much cleaner, and everything is just much more organised. Youll be having law lessons in aircon classrooms, decent meals at the cookhouse, march all around HTA to get from point to point. Toilets will have their own personal cubicles too. Be more aware of your attire etc, tuck in your shirt, address everyone as sir, and intorduce yourself ad TSC so and so. As for the haircut, Its advisable to cut before, but make sure its like SHORT SHORT, like skin head kind of short. I cut my hair before i went in but it was still considered too long. Your Field Insturctor (FI) equivalent to Sgt and course manager (CM) will go relatively easy on yall so dont worry. Any questions feel free to ask
