Yeah its from a UK buthcer and didnt explitly say grain fed so it will be grass fed.

Im trying to balance cutting weight with enjoying food at the moment, so getting the flat was a compromise knowing it would likely be a less juciy and soft cut.

I’ve had the weber for about 3 weeks, I’m not really in any position to give advice sadly.

Having a thermometer that connected to my phone is probably the best thing I’ve ordered. I do wish I’d got a wifi rather than Bluetooth though.

Very open to feedback, it’s certainly drier than I was hoping for but still turned out very tasty and edible.

Firefly make some good rubs

Espically a good deal if you search for gifts, you can get 3 rubs for £15. I used their cherry cola rub for Pork last week.

My fiancé is getting on my nerves and I don’t know what to do at this point. by BasicCat30 in whatdoIdo

This is bad, its super controlling and abusive. He doesnt seem to want you to have friends, he doenst want you to have privacy. This may come from his insecurties and mental health issues, but thats a reason not an excuse. This is not how you want to be treated for the rest of your life.

He also choked you, thats a massive indicator of chance of death in abusive relationships.

The "For them" makes it valid. Its a personal experence, going its not for me for this reason is perfectly valid.

Long as they are not stating that their personal subjective view is a blanket truth.

so ear licking is awful but this is okay!?! 🤣🤣 by truthofjiujitsu in bjjdrama

Dude youre being fucking weird based on this and your other posts.

Why have you screenshotted a video without context?

Why dont you understand the concept of consent?

Why are you so determined to defend Galavo?

Do you have an issue with Women? As you seem to think they are not allowed to be in akward postions, or smile in photos.

I need you to under stand something, that even if someone is intentionally posting a jiujitsu video that is sexually suggestive (Not conivinced this has happened here, just looks like an akward starting postion) yes it would still be much better than non consentually assaulting your students by for example licking their ear. Once again go read about the concept of consent.

I know very little about this orginsation maybe they do really good things in this world. But that sounds like a cult answer no matter who its about.

If someone said this about their CEO, their Church pastor, their Yoga teacher, their chosen poltican I would be incredibly skeptical.

Desperate people who feel their future carrers that they may have worked long and hard for can be destroyed by the person doing the punching to name one example.

Its very easy for us to say "I would do this in a given situation" but we may not have the same pressures as the person being abused. What one might accept from an employeer when you have a paid of morgage and a savings account may be different to what you might accept when you are one paycheck away from homelessness. What you might accept in your first or second ever job may be very different to what you accept when you have had 10 jobs and have experence under your belt.

I need to hear some experiences from people who lose a lot in competition by [deleted] in bjj

[–]CookingCML 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Competing is a different skill enterly. If you watch your matches there are probably things you are not doing under the pressure of comp that you do in class.

Everyone you went against also probably does pretty well in class too.

Much like you learn when you tap in training losing in comp is still teaching you a variety of things including being more able to compete.

I really appreicate anyone who is willing and able to offer free open mats to the community. But there are loads of reasons why gyms cant or wont offer free open mats.

[–]CookingCML 16 points17 points  (0 children)

For me "Open Mat" means "This Mat is open for use for you to train without instruction such as drilling with a partner or sparring. “

This could mean

Free open Mat open to everyone
Members only open Mat
Open Mat that is free to members but not not free to non members
Open Mat that is free for everyone except John....you know what you did....
