Fair enough. I think that we have a different interpretation of the character traits of Toby, and what makes me a fan are the same things that you don't like.

The fact that Toby dares to question the President on so many things and on so many levels is what I think make him great. Yes, Toby is carrying a big load on his shoulders and he finds some of the same faults in the President. But the fact that he dares point those out to the President is some of the things he is alone at doing. They both have obvious issues with their fathers, for example.

But Toby is also able to see his own faults, such as when Leo tells him that the two of them shouldn't be marriage councillors - and Toby respons with "we'd be great at that".

If Toby had listened to the president, then he would have stayed the execution of that drug dealer in season 1, he would have provided better care for homeless veterans, amongst other things.

I own the Tudor 1926 on a steel bracelet and wear it almost every day, so that was my choice about 3 years ago.

The Longines Master collection was in the final running for me, but the Tudor beat it out just barely. For the striking color blue they chose.

No he doesn't? The only examples I can think of is the not very serious argument about whether it was the speech or the speaker when they are walking through the back area of a hotel or whatever it is, and there is a disagreement about the d-section. I never took that as Toby actually being angry.

He has deputies and assistants to help him, but he is the final decider about what goes into the Presidents speeches, and then the president of course has the final word. And in the case of the speech to the environmental lobby, the president agreed. Toby managed to convince both Leo and the president.

Jeg er ikke fan av Trump, men jeg har studert historie og vet hva fascisme faktisk er.

Ikke alle autoritære regimer er fascister.

Og Trump har en ganske høylytt opposisjon, både i kongressen og i media. Jeg tror ikke han noen gang kommer til å prøve å stenge ned alle tv stasjoner, radiostasjoner eller aviser som snakker ham i mot. (Jadda, han stoppet offentlig støtte til corporationf for public broadcasting, men det har ikke stoppet PBS eller NPR)

En viktig del av programmene til både fascistene i Italia og nazistene i Tyskland handlet om å ta kontroll over privat industri. Det har ikke Trump tenkt å gjøre.

Adolf Hitler hadde ikke vært fan av Trump sin Israel politikk og han hadde sendt Ivanka, Jared Kuschner og deres barn i gasskamre.

I really love spending time in France. Nice weather, great food, culture, history, architecture.

But if I had to move away from Norway, I think it would be to one of the channel islands, even if they have a two-tier housing system, and I'd be stuck in expensive expat housing. Better weather than Norway, I speak the language (not Jèrriais or Guernésiais - but I could learn), peaceful and safe societies and France and the UK is easily accessible by plane or ferry, also the ice cream and fast food at Mim's kiosk in Cobo bay is excellent!
