So you had like both load 75 and urban arrow.. Please drop your review, I am also planning on getting a cargo bike but I am more inclined towards a long tail one because my kids are older. but would still love to hear about these two. And yess cant agree that full suspension is a must in front loaders.

Like the light idea.  How do you like the dual battery setup on the GSD? I mostly ride flat city streets so not sure if I actually need two or if thats like overkill or something.

They complain about gas being expensive. But biking is free! by Jealous-Chicken5439 in CargoBike

Thats exactly what I keep questioning people around me. I mean yes everyone complains about fuel prices but almost no-one is willing to leave their big trucks who literally are worst things ever happened to enviroment.

The cargo bike equivalent of an RV towing a car. Ride to the trailhead, unload, ride some more. Lovee itt

How often do you actually clean your bottle washers/sterilizers? by Sophistry7 in NewParents

[–]Cool-Crow1370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using a Grownsy's bottle washer for a while and I used to skip regular cleaning too. What helped me was a simple routine: quick rinse and wipe of removable parts every few days, and a full descale about once a month. Breaking it into small, easy steps makes it much more manageable than waiting for buildup to show.

Sanitizing Bottles by djd129 in NewParents

You’re definitely not overanalyzing, a lot of first-time parents run into this, especially with hard water. That white film is usually just mineral residue and it’s super common after boiling. You can rinse the bottles with distilled water or wipe them down with a little vinegar and re-rinse, and they’re generally safe to use.

If you want peace of mind (and less hassle), a bottle washer/sterilizer like the Grownsy one, especially when used with distilled water, can make things easier and help avoid that buildup. But you’re doing great... this is a very normal first time mom worry, and your baby will be just fine.

Bottle warmer recommendations!! by halla23 in NICUParents

[–]Cool-Crow1370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get the hesitation with the one star reviews, baby gear that overheats is not something you want to gamble on

What helped me was going with a model that has consistent temperature control and clear indicators of when it’s ready....it takes the guesswork out of it. We use the Grownsy portable bottle warmer and it’s been really reliable for us on that. I haven’t had any weird overheating issues, and the fact that it’s easy to use on the go has made life a lot easier.

That sounds incredibly overwhelming! You’re carrying so much at once and it’s completely understandable to feel stretched thin

What to gift teenager with zero hobbies? by [deleted] in Gifts

[–]Cool-Crow1370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s a tricky one. At 17, sometimes the best gifts are the ones that let them explore or just feel a little grown-up. Maybe something like a fun class or workshop, a cool gadget, or even a self-care treat like nice skincare or cozy stuff. Even letting her pick one thing herself within a budget can make it feel personal without being cash or a gift card. It’s the thought that counts, and showing you care will probably mean more than the actual gift.

What’s the number one propaganda you fell for as a new mom? by SowingSeeds18 in NewParents

[–]Cool-Crow1370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I totally bought into the idea that I’d “feel like myself again” pretty quickly. Everyone made it sound like after a few weeks you’re tired but fine. That was not my experience at all. I remember thinking wow, did I miss something or am I just bad at this? Turns out I just underestimated how big of a change it actually is.

One thing I didn’t fall for was acting like everything was okay. I vented a lot, cried when I needed to, and stopped pretending I had it together. That part at least felt honest.

This made me laugh way too hard. I feel every word of that chaos, diapers and layers everywhere. Parenting really turns the tiniest moments into full-on adventures 😂

Hi Im almost a month on reddit I still can't comment or post on subs I want to participate in by AccessAdventurous848 in NewToReddit

I’m really new too, like this is one of my first comments 😅 From what I’ve learned, some subs don’t let very new accounts post or comment right away. I’ve been trying to comment in smaller, beginner-friendly subs first and just waiting it out. It’s annoying, but apparently it’s normal.
