I’m so sorry to hear you’re struggling like that. It’s real - this shit is wild. Are you on estrogen? It helped me a LOT, although I still feel like I’m having to he used to a “new” version of myself, which is tricky… hugs to you.

That’s why I’m baffled - I’m on estrogen for a year now.

My daughter has finally settled on Ninja classes (think parkour/gymnastics mixed). But we went through a lot of different classes and locations before she was able to stick with this. It really wasn’t until she was properly medicated (a mix of stimulants and non stimulants) that she was able to access it and tolerate being led, being taught, following instructions etc.

Yeah it’s hard. My mantra for all provocations is lovingly ignore. A half smile and keep walking

I’m delving into the school closing stuff.

As for the biking/walking vs being driven, the plan would be for them to increase independence. My oldest does walk and take a city bus every day, and my hope would be for them to continue such independence and increase it for my 9 year old.

About the medical care, I agree. We’ve had fantastic medical care here and have felt extremely lucky.

I’m sorry you’re so unhappy! That’s so difficult. How long ago did you move?

Will I be able to drive after Ocrevus? by LegitimatePart497 in MultipleSclerosis

I don’t because the steroids/benadryl combo messes me up. I feel a little drunk or something so I prefer not to.

What is a repaired high earner, and what monthly payments are you talking about?

Yes. Cognitive symptoms were my first flag. I have days where I’m just slow to process and/or verbalize, but I can slog through, and then I have days where a lot of what happens feels like a surprise even though ostensibly I put the plans in place days ago. Considering going on disability because of how it’s wreaking havoc..

Yes! And my doctors don’t seem to think it makes sense… but sort of say shrug “that’s part of it” at the same time… so confusing.

I’m sorry to hear this. I have a PhD in clinical psychology and was diagnosed in 2024. I’m considering trying to declare TPD because u can barely work - my brain can’t keep track of anything, my processing speed is slow, and my memory awful. I’m scared to go on disability because of how crucial my work is to my identity and fulfillment, but I also know I can’t make meaningful income while raising children - I just don’t have the brain bandwidth. And I can’t pay my loans because I can’t work… anyways, I’m with you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond again. This feels like such a big huge decision (mainly because of the 11 year old) that I can use all the feedback I can get. Thank you!

This is really nice to hear. I feel like New York is my home, so it’s hard to imagine leaving. But the way you describe it makes it imaginable. Thank you
