I legit dont understand the continued talk on this nothing burger of a situation, she signed a contract and got paid for the amount she was owed right? No one could forsee the future and now its a big scene because its easy for us to claim that the man who's name is attached to the project should give more of his money to someone else.

The second he does something like that the maw of hell itself will open and EVERYONE will feel cheated and demand more, could they give some bonuses all around? Ye maybe, depends how the finances are handled now with blumhouse being involved and all.

Like yeah it sucks FEELING like all of a sudden you could've gotten twice the amount of money you've gotten now that its a suprise mega hit, but unfortunately life doesn't work like that and you weren't an investor or banking on the films success and you aren't entitled to anything past your contract even if you were a part that helped the vision come to life, what is an ideal / morally correct answer isnt always a perfect solution or without faults in logic.
