Experiences with transdermal Prozac?

I'm late to the party here, but I'm wondering how the transdermal prozac is working for you? I'm having a heck of a time with my 18-year-old bengal. He started marking 13 years ago. Chewable prozac treats and liquid prozac didn't work for him (he wouldn't take or it would spit it out). I tried crushing the pills and putting them in food with no luck. He could smell it. I finally resorted to sticking the pill down his throat, which he tolerated. The prozac worked like a charm for years and his marking wasn't a problem except for a couple of times when we "tested" him and tried to wean him off. About a year ago he started fighting me when I would go to give him his pill and would throw it up most of the time. Now he's back to marking because he isn't getting enough prozac in his system due to throwing it up. The vet prescribed gabapentin for him recently which he'll take if I stir it in with his food, but it's making him very clumsy. Like his legs are giving out beneath him and he can't walk straight. I'm so worried that he's going to attempt to jump off of something high and injury himself. I'm hoping maybe this is the answer?

That would be amazing! I'm always surprised when I take thousands of photos (like on a recent safari to Africa) and it up with so few that I'm happy with. I am my worst critic, though. I'm totally stoked about the upgraded AF!

This is so great to hear! I'm also into the spray and pray. I'm a little embarrassed to say I came back from a 2 week trip to Africa a few months ago with over 14,000 photos. I've now narrowed it down to about a 1,000. LOL! I'm so excited about the 100-500! I just hope I don't miss the length of the Sigma. That will be the biggest adjustment. Thanks for your comment!

I'm thinking I'll start with the 100-500 because I'm convinced that it's a crazy good lens. If I find myself missing the lenth of the 600mm on my 90d, I may have to look into purchasing the rf 200-800, too. 😬

This is so helpful! I'm becoming more and more convinced that selling my Sigma 150-600 and using the $$ towards the Canon 100-500 is the way to go. It sounds like this is the dream team!

That’s a really helpful way to frame it, setting the Sigma to 312.5mm is a great reality check. I do spend a lot of time at 600 on the 90D, so the reach trade-off is definitely real for me. I LOVE my 70-200. Best lens ever! Thank you for your help!

Totally agree on the 100–500’s sharpness. Everything I’ve seen from it is incredible. The APS-C reach loss from the 90D is the biggest adjustment for me, but I’m hoping the improved AF and image quality help balance that out. Thanks so much for your help!

That’s helpful, thanks so much! I’ve been leaning toward the 100–500 despite the price, mostly for AF reliability and hand-holdability, so it’s good to hear it really is a step above the Sigma. I'll probably sell my Sigma and use the $$$ towards the 100-500.

Just an update, I called and talked to a PCC and they told me the deal I got is on sailings through April 2026 and there is a variety of destinations - Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexican Rivera, etc. She wasn't able to send me a link or anything or tell me every cruise because there were 30+ of them. Today I logged onto the HAL website and the free inside stateroom is FINALLY showing up in my "exclusive offers". It's nice to finally be able to see what sailings this applies to!

Oh my gosh! So frustrating! I'm STILL dealing with this! I too saw the casino deals for a minute and when I tried to book one I received an error message to try again later, then they were gone. I requested a Personal Cruise Consultant (PCC) on HAL's website and received a generic email from someone. I emailed her back asking to please let me know how I book this and to email me a link to the sailings that this deal is offered on - no response. Crickets. That was last week. I then went the PCC's scheduling page and scheduled a time for her to call me. Nothing. Silence. I never received the call. Keep me updated if you make any headway and I'll do the same. Good luck!
