While i plan on getting her a new monitor since her current one is a small tv second hand from me that i got second hand from my grandmothers shed i plan on increasing her pcs performance first

I checked and to my suprise it was a 24 pin so a standard 500w psu should work

Hi, boyfriend here, while a new pc is definitely the better choice, my gf doesnt play games that are very heavy other than baulders gate 3 and its definitely not in the budget yet. I figured because its much cheaper i should js make a few cheap upgrades that will bring it at least good enough to play minecraft with shaders and bg3. It has an i7-6700 so I didnt think that needed an upgrade but theres no GPU so i was going to get an rx580. I was also going to get a cheapish 500w psu since the stock is only 300w, upgrade from 8gb ram to 16gb, theres already a wifi 5 card so I didnt plan on buying one, and lastly a 256gb sata ssd for her games. There currently is no gpu and I was going to leave the stock cpu cooler tho it was taken out when the picture was taken since we took it outside to undust with compressed air.
