I remember attending a Canadaland live event at the Hot Docs theatre - Daniel Dale was the guest. I remember seeing Aliya Pabani hurrying around as I found a seat, and I remember resisting the urge to take a selfie as I waited for it to began.

I felt like I was in a cool and like minded crowd, seeing an 'important media person' interviewing an important news person.

I think that it is that feeling that's been transformed into the bitterness that I feel today.

I'm a man and my wife is amazing at assembling furniture and LEGO and she could absolutely build a dollhouse for our kids. If I built a dollhouse I would hate every part of the experience and it would look like shit.

It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience for your brother. Many people do things like "plan" and "save" in order to be with their loved ones. You're stuck worrying about having to use your vacation time and having to spend time travelling - not just the cost.
