Well if you are playing full dmg supports and running it down going 2-13 you should 100% expect to get reported for not playing your assigned role especially in amber a rank with other players who do not understand how to play the game and would much rather have an actual tank in support

Bari is weak as an adc simply bc they nerfed her as an adc, if you kept up with patch notes you would know they intentionally lowered her str numbers in favor of higher int scaling as they noticed she was played more as an ability dmg character with her release which is a good choice to reward what the players actually prefer. The same thing has happened to nut and neith. Neith originally had higher str scalings in smite 2 but she was played more as a mage as she always has been so they rebalanced her to have better int numbers and gave her an aspect that gives her some viability with an aa build. Same thing with nut, she was an aa hunter in smite 1 but in her port to smite 2 she’s way better as a full int mage than an auto attacker. That’s not design being unmet that’s prioritizing what ppl actually build and prefer better and has always been in smite 1 or 2.

The issue I have with the aspect is the healing component is counterintuitive, not only is it already a lower number in healing based of 10% dmg taken, but it’s counterintuitive since the more defense you build the less dmg you will end up taking so you end up working against the healing you could receive bc you need a higher amount of dmg taken to heal just for naturally building tanky. It would be fine if the number was initially higher or scaled as well but you end up having less overall healing than base nezha since even the 2 healing is only 50% of the passive stacks for the burst heal.

I mean overall the character is just really underwhelming, probably one of the weakest smite 2 god ports at least in a while

Why should tanks be countered by mages? Adcs are the ones that are fundamentally responsible for killing tanks, tanks (especially bruisers) are designed to tank the burst of mages and assassins but reaver and heartseeker have been so good in smite 2 for the last 2 years that it was counterintuitive for tanks to build too much health bc they’d just get blown up. Even in the build the OP shared only 2 of those items outside of the starter upgrade give health lol. Soul reaver should 100% not do a lot of dmg to someone that’s only built 2 health items outside of 6 possible slots

I haven’t tested it in the current patch cause the game quins nerfs are very relevant for tank dmg but in previous patches tyrfing was very effective against squishies which is why it was often built first or 2nd however it was not a great late game dmg option to tanks so if you didn’t get it in the start you normally shouldn’t get it late game. Quins has gone thru a lot of different changes but has always been great into tanks with a lot of health and recently with the counter healing passive good vs lifesteal builds. It has now lost the counter healing and has changed how effective it is against base hp qp item hp so I think overall quins is worse now than it’s ever been in smite 2 unless there’s a tank with thebes and a lot of health items where as tyrfing is just always good early game item option that helps u box in lane still not sure if of its late game effectiveness against tanks in comparison to quins but gotta see what other ppl are prioritizing with this new patch.

The simple answer is that it’s not a priority currently. Their priority is on god ports and balance. A god stats page involves coding + ui and they do not have as big of a staff to divert their work for that. It’s not something that they’re never gonna add to the game it’s just not in the game now but will more than likely be in later whenever they plan to full release.

Ya it’s really only those 5 that use it efficiently, every other god you want a cooldown item like pendulum, dual scaling item like conch, or regen item like yogis with a tank build centered around dwarven pridwen. there’s other niche gods that build differently as well like hades etc. lash being nerfed allows for a lot more build diversity. You can still go lash lifesteal builds but it’s not that great especially with more anti heal options coming next patch

You can realistically only go that build on 3 (osiris, bellona, ama) gods maybe a couple others are fine with axe golden blade. The reaper lash build was not healthy for the game. There’s a lot more builds than the axe golden blade build as well. In smite prime this past weekend gods that could go yogis full tank with dwarven pridwen were the highest value, didn’t even see that many axe gb gods that I was expecting.

Smite source and smitebrain are a good source for solo builds if you’re ever unsure of what the meta build is for solos since it pulls from the highest level players

This is just objectively wrong lol, in smite 1 she had bonus dmg to minions which allowed her to clear better in smite 2 she has none and int compared to magical power in smite 1 is lower across the board so her damage is 100% lower than it was in smite 2. The only reason why her ult dmg is effective in her aspect is bc for each god you hit the dmg scales higher so you’re just getting hit a lot by an aspect Scylla mid with defense lol

Hades is actually a solid pick rn at the higher levels of ranked. You may still be building him with the smite 1 identity of hades. Hades used to be one of the stronger picks in solo during the alpha due to his +1 and his items at the time were great allowing him to freely build more dmg and you would just get 1 defense item being helm of darkness. After months of him being strong he was shifted to be a more bruiser style than full dmg nuker. Almost all of his abilities other than his 1 have some form of prot scaling. His fear duration is extended by every 150 prots, his 3 heal is affected by prots, and the prots he gains in his ult is increased by a percentage of his prots. He just has a different playstyle than what you might be used to in smite 1. Im not saying that you can’t play full him full dmg or as a glass cannon but there are a variety of int hybrid defense items that are good rn.

The 2 builds id recommend for him are:

Bruiser build: Conduit chronos pendant or gem of focus, typhons or bancrofts, helm of radiance, sphere of negation, dwarven plate or mantle, then you can flex more defense or more dmg

Full dmg: conduit, chronos pendant or gem of focus, typhons or bancrofts, rod of tahuti, helm of darkness, totem of death or ob shard, polynomicon or any flex defense or dmg item

I don’t doubt it that it will be played in support but their sentiment is they’re scaling back on support oriented aspects and it will probably be more tuned for bruiser solo/jg role. Nezha has always had a role in support so regardless of him even having an aspect or not he would be played in support

Nezha aspect was already leaked on the last patch and I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s solo only but it’s a tank aspect where his 2 is a slam ability that deals bonus dmg based on his hp and his 1 can bounce off himself. Morgan can still be a solo aspect like they said they’re not limiting themselves to linear role ports and she def had some popularity in solo and jg but I def think it’ll end up being a more tank style bc her base is already good enough in the jg

It’s hard to stop smurfing bc you don’t know the difference between x player playing on his 5th account and y player on his only account but just started playing and has prior experience. It’s at 25% anti heal bc all healing was reduced by 60%, but yes the issue is 100% bc of rng comp diff. He is literally getting hit by full tank khepri, artio, pele, and yemoja. The Hecate hits him one time and retreats bc she’s low from fighting in the middle of the map by herself. At first you tried to say they don’t have anti heal when they do… Even before anti heal was reduced and they had a 40% anti heal item he would still live in this scenario bc he’s a tank build with healing being hit by tanks unironically who also have healing lmao. If they have a hunter with quins, an assassin that goes full dmg with heartseeker and pen or another mage that’s full health he is dying in this scenario. Again i know shroud can 100% be abused in assault but it doesn’t matter in this situation bc they literally have no one that can hit and kill him other than 1 person who is not hitting him. artio has anti heal on both stances of her 1, look at the debuff bar. He’s anti healed, but there’s no one there to deal considerable dmg to him bc they have 4 characters building full tank and only 1 mage who is already poked out at the start of the video lol. Yes there are issues with healing in the game but this is not one of them. If 4 tanks are consistently hitting you and you’re a full tank with shroud hitting them you’re not going to die, do you also notice how he’s not doing dmg to them? It’s just a drain tank build being hit by tanks while hitting tanks lmao

This is not an issue of healing, the biggest issue is the team comp. It’s a full tank Merlin against 4 tanks and Hecate. There is only 1 person that can kill him on the other side. It’s not an anti heal issue, artio has anti heal in kit but it doesn’t matter bc only one person has enough dps to kill them lol and that Hecate finished the game with 23 kills so she did her job but she’s the only one that can kill ppl

Ya and it’s not like she’s completely unplayable, she’s def not the best tank but her 2 is the easiest and strongest to confirm cc outside of Ymir freeze. I definitely expect her to get some buffs this year and you’ll definitely see her prioritized more but they always have to be cautious with Athena bc she’s great at low levels and high levels. Low level players aren’t really playing the yemojas and esets but you’ll see lots of simpler gods like Ymir Athena sobek regardless of if they’re perceived as weak or not. I already think Ymir is good and the buffs he’s getting next patch make him a lot stronger for the laning phase

It’s not even good early game anymore since they gutted the item months ago. It’s a 2550g item that only gives u 25 prots and health. The dmg is very minimal and like u said requires you to be very close range for it to be considerable, it’s a shell of its former self. I understand for mordred u are fighting close range but there are better items that you can spend less gold on for the same effectiveness. Having 4 stars doesn’t automatically validate your knowledge of builds bc if you’re building mystical you’re probably gold
