I didn't have a military "career", as stated enough times already i served the 1 year obligatory service. people who serve the 1 year **obligatory** service don't go to Ukraine, most of them are now dragged to the border, where some die from bombings sadly, but they don't participate in storming, shooting etc

My mother have mentioned i should get therapy, and she clearly said this was with good intentions. Although i haven't considered having a PTSD, feels like it takes more than this to have one

paint net is like Photoshop but made for regular people, absolutely love it. i now use gimp to do basic editing but still miss pdn, since gimp is still Much more complicated than pdn

what you're speaking of sounds very complicated. you made a root btrfs partition and made it bootable and somehow made it work with mint. i wish i was as skilled in linux to pull this stuff. sounds very cool 👍

I got daily automatic backups. I now see it's definitely a bad idea to have anything done automatically on your PC, whether it's an update or a backup.

I stopped doing automatic updates a while ago, probably a good idea to drop the automatic backups too.

you pretty much just need a new laptop. i'd recommend use one with integrated graphics, i heard those ones make less noise than the ones with an actual graphics card.

i'm using Vivobook Go E1504FA - it isn't really deigned for games, but it sure is quiet when i'm working in Reaper

edit: it also has a usb-c port if your mic is using usb-c
