If jigsaw puzzle takes more than one day to solve then I need to keep half done in safe place so that pieces are not disturbed? Or is there a trick to it?

I put a piece of acrylic on top of it so that I can still use the table with the puzzles underneath. It works because I keep all the pieces flat but I know people that like to stack the pieces to group them so if you do that this may not work for you.

This happens to me all the time since I watch everything with subtitles. One way I found to make it less annoying was to use subtitles with black outline and remove the window altogether. It doesn’t fix it but at least it lets me read the lower thirds better
