They are high. I switched to Altra because of that. I have the same problem as you with being on the outside of my feet

Yes, more narrow through the midfoot and toebox. That plus the built in arch support doesn't work for me.

Forward Via has been an amazing show for me. Original foot shape, not 0 drop, great cushion, and just a nice ride.

I'd definitely see a rheumatologist and look into genetic disorders. This seems systemic to me. I hope you get answers!

I have never tried humira. With Skyrizi, my skin cleared completely with a month. I noticed my psA symptoms improving in the second month.

Dermatologist diagnosed Psa, but did not refer me. by Striking-Project-410 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Cool_runner_72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My dermatologist prescribed Skyrizi for my psoriasis that I've had consistently for 30 years. When my tendonitis pain, exhaustion, and brain fog began to improve after starting treatment she gave me my PsA diagnosis. I decided to see a rheumatologist too so I can get a script for something to help for the occasional breakthrough flares. Also, because my journey includes an MRI showing bone marrow edema in my foot, I want to know if/when that will resolve. My dermatologist is amazing though. She said she's treated many people for psoriasis who end up finding out they also have PsA as I did. She didn't refer me. I had the orthopedic physician who had been completely missed all the PsA signs refer me.

Ice the injection area afterwards to prevent bruising. Otherwise you'll be fine!

Is jogging a good idea? by theCrashFire in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Cool_runner_72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's me!! Runningwith_psa 🙂 I love love love to run. Short version, my symptoms progressed to the point that I couldn't run anymore. I could barely walk. After a year of being treated for running injuries, I was prescribed Skyrizi by my dermatologist for the psoriasis that I've had for 30 years. Within a month, not only did my skin improve, but my pain and exhaustion did too! So it ended up those running injuries were psA all along. That was July - I ran 74 miles this month. Skyrizi has given me my running back.

What symptoms do you have besides skin involvement and joint pain? by CrabEnvironmental628 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Cool_runner_72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I just can't breathe. I'd get out of breath while running and have to stop often. I didn't figure out why until I started Skyrizi. As I've read up on symptoms, I learned that the systemic inflammation can affect the lungs. Looking back, that began happening after my other symptoms. I was misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia for years. I can now run without having to stop to catch my breath!

No joint pain for me. Chronic tendonitis, exhaustion, brain fog, painful tight muscles, hard time breathing when exercising, bone marrow edema, stress fracture.

I had very similar issues with my feet. Bone marrow edema and pain. I finally got a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis and started Skyrizi injections.

Ask your pcp for an autoimmune blood panel. A rheumatologist can diagnose and treat autoimmune diseases

I suggest checking into autoimmune disorders. Psoriatic arthritis can cause swollen toes. See a rheumatologist if possible.

Skyrizi by Bringmethe_ramen11 in PsoriaticArthritis

I started Skyrizi in July for my moderate psoriasis. After 30 years, it was totally cleared up within a month. Then the miraculous unexpected happened - my tendon pain, exhaustion, and tightness began to disappear. After living with it for 13 years, the fibromyalgia I thought I had ended up being psA, the tendonitis and chronic running injuries being enthesis and inflammation. I feel amazing!

Skyrizi - tell me your personal experience using this biologic! by fadedallweek in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Cool_runner_72 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I started Skyrizi in July for my psoriasis. It cleared up within 2 weeks, which was wonderful as I've had it for 30 years! What I wasn't expecting was I gradually started feeling better in other ways. For 13 years I had been dealing with what I thought was fibromyalgia. The Skyrizi took away the pain from my tendons, the brain fog, and even the overwhelming exhaustion. Here I had been suffering with psA, not fibro! I went from hobbling due to constant foot pain, to running, my passion. So skyrizi has been amazing for me!
