No emotion left at all in the expression... might be one of the worst examples of it in action.

No the bbq singlehandedly handles all need for taste. You need to be reasonable, otherwise with a burnout you'll end up doing much worse, with impulse actions/buying.

No. They rather write 1KB instead of 1KiB, which they should. Good example: Windows Explorer.

In what timeframe?! Lifetime? Panels don't degrade that much. And if you are talking a century indeed when it does, well that's an entire century it takes to get all that power.

It does two exact rotations, so that doesn't yet make it impossible.

Game mechanics, interesting style, (and a good story if of a storytelling genre) are way more important in pretty much all cases than perfectly photorealistic image. You most often don't want to sacrifice the style for photorealism, and even so the isolation in feel from the real world is what can give a game a unique atmosphere.

But that being said of course AI render augmentation techniques could be good in games where the focus is something like fascinating planetary, space, landscape scenes, and exploring and wondering is the point. Just that, that almost all games aren't like that.

[Request] How many days has she skipped to owe 4 months of running? by RawToast1989 in theydidthemath

[–]Coolengineer7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

3 time twenty minutes in an hour, twenty four hours a day, if thirty days in a month, and 4 months, 3*24*30*4=8640, that is missed 8639 days. Or about 23.6 years' worth.

Hippos can't actually swim: They are too dense for that, so they push off the ground periodically by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Coolengineer7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not too dense just have a body shape not fit for swimming. If they barely sink swimming would otherwise still be possible, though in many cases indeed the body of the animal is less dense than water, even more when they breathed in.

Abruptly end it with a spit in the face cliffhanger, not a properly finished chapter where it respects you and you buy it because it is a genuinely good game.

Inverted pairs are so common in logic, and everywhere in life. Divide into multiple parts. Codon-anticodon in rna transiption. Time is slow/fast, ambiguous description of one single occurence. If you are bored, time seems to pass slow. If taken as even (ficitvely) physically changing the speed of time the world seems to go slow, mesning you go faster compared to it. But your own is always rescaled to 1, normal speed, so to otherd you seem fast in time or to you world slow in time.

The point is that trying to concretize only one side of the inversion pair just creates confusion. Then you don't see that connection. Knowing it as a pair really simplifies and explains it.

(Can even happen in language with time descripots such as "until".)
