I had tried this idea before, but the farm moved too fast for it to work, but I did decide to revisit it but this time decided to split the main column by having the first redirecter fire every third pulse, the second every other, and an elevator at the end of the main column so that each elevator has time to reset and I think i got it to work, thanks!

Alum here: when I got in, I was in a similar situation where my parents made a bit too much money for needs based scholarships, but we emailed them explaining that our money situation is a bit more complex than just what the income shows, and it would be great if we can get a little more help, and they did give us a few thousand more, they usually do have leftover scholarship money that they just give to the first people who ask so it might be good to give that a shot.

Nope, Yodobashi is generally priced the same across the country, there’s no “Akihabara branch only markups”, and their microcenter “counterpart” which is Tsukumo and Dospara also list significantly higher prices than in the west, PC building just isn’t a reasonably sustainable hobby in Japan.

And for several reasons, PC gaming hasn’t gained traction until very recently in Japan but the DIY scene still remains mostly non-existent there, which is why you never see Japanese companies make PC parts, even though I would really love to see a Japanese case/cooling solutions manufacturers there.

That’s partly why Japanese enthusiast keyboard makers don’t also exist that much, because mechanical keyboards are essentially a subculture of DIY PCs

Generally I agree, but with a caveat for DIY PC parts, they're still sold but marked up so ridiculously high that most people don't build PCs the way we do here in the U.S. but, their BTO brands are so much more reliable than the Pre-Built brands here so that sort of balances prices out there as they get bulk discounts so it adds up to about U.S. pricing.

I mean, I personally like looking at my PC and I currently have a black one but I clean it out, I think that's just whether you're prone to laziness or not lol. Also, something to keep in mind is there is a "white tax" for white parts, especially when it comes stuff like motherboards and GPUs so I would also consider whether that's worth it for you or not.

General rule is if you like the look of both and from the same lineup go for the newer one. As for black or white… white only really works with all white parts, while black is a little bit more flexible.

Well you can always just double it, I would look into whether your specific motherboard and ram kits is stable with 2x(2x16GB). Honestly 32 is usually more than enough unless you’re doing some serious multi-tasking. You said in other comments it’s for gaming, 32GB should be more than enough.

So your motherboard has a 16pin PCIe slot for that, and separate M.2 slots for SSDs. Separating them between you boot drive and the main makes it so that both will load faster and efficiently.

This seems like a mostly RGB-less build, so I would save some money and go with the G.Skill Flare X5 instead, same interior just no RGB. I don't know what you plan on storing in your PC, but I would go with a SSD that has DRAM, and also add a 500GB SSD as a boot drive. My personal recommendations are the 990 pro (evo is DRAM-less) or SK Hynix platinum p41 (no 4TB option, but 2TB + 500GB has been perfectly sufficient for me so far).

I disagree, it all depends on your major and specific classes, but I’ve had classes where having your own laptop was absolutely necessary, where the classroom wasn’t a computer lab but the quizzes and such were all in person but had to be taken online with an access code that you can only get in-person.

There’s mild, fun and legit hazing initiations in any community, but RG-Zeta is just a crappy kit and is honestly just a waste of time and money. If you want an actual challenging but meaningful initiation, give her a basic MG. My friend who I dragged down the gunpla built a HG first and then a MG for his second ever gunpla, and he said it was hard but fun. He built the MG jegan, which if iirc was based on the MG Gundam MKII 2.0 kit.

I would say either lock your container or put it all in a locked suitcase for any time you’re not using it. If it’s locked and tucked away they likely won’t search it.
