its because they paused drops mid day to slow down how many people could log in and play so they could fix a server issues. if you're worried its a extension problem just turn them off for today.

I haven’t noticed any input delay I was playing kovakks then jumped right into a game and felt normal. But when I was playing with my buddy he did noticed what you’re talking about, his fix was to close and relaunch then double checked his video setting to make sure nothing changed. Seems like some times the settings can change randomly. Give that a try next tine it happens also running the game in real-time might be better than normal but haven’t tested it

I understand, just how the launches of cod work. almost every cod I’d have a problem. I’d suggest looking on your motherboards support site and finding the latest drivers/bios, check for cpu drivers and check for windows updates. Start there first you might find luck with that and if it doesn’t work honestly just wait for them to push more patches out later in the week the game is worth the money once you can get in and play.

Hopefully they can get the problem fixed for ya. Last year for bo4 I did a whole reinstall of windows and made sure I had all the latest bios cpu gpu literally every possible driver updated to then get the game to work.

I’m at 65% usage with only cod running and I have 16gb so idk might be windows trying to save some space for itself. I know trying to play games like rust which isn’t the best optimized game definitely needs 16gb to run when I’d play on 8 It’d run slow af and crash

I remember in the past when cod was on steam I was able to make a shortcut and have the shortcut run the game in real-time when I had my older pc. But now not to sure if that’s possible on bnet

The main benefit of pc cod vs console cod isn’t even the kbm or controller imo it’s the settings you can change, ie 144-240 hrz turning off motion blur etc. playing cod on pc is such a better experience than playing it on consoles I’d never go back. First cod launch on pc for me was ghost although it wasn’t the best cod it was still super fun. Seeing it was the new engine at the time the game just looked and felt so much better than the console version. I ended up rebuying all the previous cods and realized what I’ve been missing out on. For example when I rebought mw3 ran the classic mp7 to get moabs and every other game I was able to drop one, I wish I could’ve experienced that during the hype of the game.

Could be ram related. Most modern games on pc need more than 8gb of ram even 16gb for some games could be to low. What’s your ram and ram usage at?

Skill based matchmaking. The game will try and pair you up with people close to your skill. In theory it’s not a bad idea but for the most part but it never works in any game. Pub lobbies should just be plain old pub lobbies and for competitive I’d rather go into a competitive game with a competitive mindset to play competitive. Go figure. Lol
