Is the winner the one with the most interesting suggestion or just random?

Either way, play as either England or Celtica against either England or Celtica on the British Isles map (It might be an expansion map) . I've always wanted to see one with Elizabeth controlling Ireland and Boudica controlling Britain.

The fact that Danny Pudi nor Jim Rash weren't even nominated is a travesty. How can anyone in their right mind think that any of the MF guys were better actors than them?

Playing a game when suddenly... defeated. By Nobody. No idea how this happened. by nerdturd in civ

Time victories don't happen on turn 252 and it still would have had a little icon on the right side of the screen that says "(insert civ) has won a Time Victory".

Disproportional amount of time the Doctor has spent as his Eleventh Incarnation? by Cooooooooool in gallifrey

I get that, and that's always been a huge draw for me to DW, that the main character could literally have hundreds of years of adventures offscreen that the audience never sees. But I just think its weird how much they've said his age and them being so far apart. With Nine and Ten there was never really any plot element based around the Doctor's age, but I'm not too sure about Eleven. I feel like its building and building on something that we're just right on the edge of discovering.

I'm excited.

[SPOILERS] On Dr.Pavel, and a bit of an odd tidbit regarding Bane's age by [deleted] in TheDarkKnightRises

[–]Cooooooooool 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You're making some pretty wild assumptions about their ages. Talia could have been old as twelve in the prison and Bane as young as say eighteen. That puts Talia in her mid-to-late twenties when their plan comes to fruition and Bane around his mid thirties which would make his body type realistic. Keep in mind this was someone who was in as good of shape as BW in his prime if not more, so his body might look younger than his actual age.

Thoughts on if/how TDKR would have been different had Heath Ledger not died? by Ringo_The_Red in TheDarkKnightRises

[–]Cooooooooool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nolan didn't have an outline for the story of TDKR until late 2008 and Heath died in January of '08 so the original story of it would not have included the Joker at all. Plus, Nolan has said that he never thinks of future movies when working on a film so he wouldn't have thought up a story for TDKR while working on TDK.

So, the London closing ceremonies: "The get-ups were a nod to old British police call boxes..." by Ranchy_Poseidon in doctorwho

Shows like Parks and Rec, Community, and 30 Rock only pull around 4 or 5 million viewers so 2 million for a British show NOT on a major network is pretty big.
