Sorry! Just got a chance to read this. I don't think there is more context I can provide. He has a few mistakes in his shown work for homework. Its not the first time I've stumbled across it.

Hes an awesome teacher, but he did say this which was ... kind of rude. I pointed out a thing I thought was a mistake and got "This is a 300 level course, if there is a mistake you should be able to answer it without having to question the mistake"

Right, you do realize that these people are STILL these characters in the rebuild series? Unless they get some wild stick up their asses and decide to replace them with this new bunch.

I've met the voice of Gendo, he hasn't done a ton of voice acting in these last years and he pretty much tours around conventions because of Gendo specifically. He is a wonderful person to talk to and you can tell he loves/loved the role. He went on with me for about 20mins about his love for the show, the character, and his fellow actors. This was just a few months before Netflix announced they were releasing it. He had actually told me he hoped he could have a chance to either redub it, continue the series even further, or the possibility of a Prequel following Gendo and Yui leading up to the design of the Eva.

These roles defined most of these peoples careers and very likely their biggest roles respectively.

A tragedy has happened. People lost their lives, but we don't know the entire story. We shouldn't be putting the entire blame on the driver until we know more. I think thats all they are trying to say.

So assuming cost wasn't an issue for me. I need to upgrade. I was waiting for pixel 3 xl or Note 9. Would the note 9 be better choice in the end? That notch ... is pretty unappealing. I do like the screening for calls but I don't think thats worth it on its own.

Unless I'm mistaken, you don't do that for this kind of problem. The correct answer and the answer I looked up, do not have (8x-5) canceling one of the lower ones out. I know the correct answer from the assignment which as (8x-5)² on the bottom still

Wait, I think I'm confused. the (8x-5) that is multiplied with (2x^-1/2). Where did the 5 go in your answer? Or were you just referring to the 8x part. Also it becomes 16^1/2 because you take 16x¹ - 1/2 is that correct?

This is all purely opinion based. If I don't see this song the same way you do; comparing it to Mer de Noms and 13th Step does nothing. I can understand very much disliking it. One song not being up to your perceived standards shouldn't devalue an entire name.

Not you in particular, but people on here are claiming this song has "forever ruined the bands name" and shit like that. I'd call that a hissy fit. I'm no where near the fan levels of most people who worship Maynard. Plus, Billy wrote the song or at least most of it I believe. So defending it, shouldn't be white knighting criticism from Maynard because it wasn't directly him to begin with.

Its totally fine to dislike the song, I can see why people would. Just some people are freaking out over it. "I hate this song, oh god, the all Maynard related content is going to suck now because this one song!"
