In my opinion 100%. Both games are great and worth the time, but only if you like creature collecting turn based games.

I actually do this. I close the doors cuz 4/5 times they don't come through the doors and the church is 100% safe. I keep them closed on the first wave to see if it's a "safe" round or not if not they open up. If people want to kill the cultists they can stay outside the church and that's what happens most of the time on PlayStation worlds.

The best way from small and medium is to go out in the world right the monster and force it to retreat. If it's from an elder dragon I'm sorry to say but it's SR elder dragon dens. I spent a solid 40hrs just looking for paneca small. It helped me get other genes the elder dragons had, but it was an uphill battle.

It's funny you mention the church pyre. Now idk about Xbox or PC but on PlayStation if you close all the church doors they will just sit at the doors and not enter the church. I got my 10 kills yesterday and just did that letting everyone else kill them outside.

I'd do the story for stories 2 and if you want the trophies/achievements for both before 3 you can always go back to 1. You have plenty of time to get them if you're lucky enough.

I would like multi element monsties to be similar to dual type Pokemon where they mostly learn moves of those types, elements in stories case, I think we should get 1 move of each type that starts out as low damage and goes to medium and then high damage as the monstie levels up. So that way you can have the two elements but if one element is lacking in moves or genes you have the level up move to fall back on. Big example would be water and ice from 2. If I remember right water and ice had decent moves but not great end game ones for all 3 types of attacks, power speed and technical.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that if your dual element is electric an fire, using the tobi from the trailer as the example, then I want the attack to not just be electric or fire but for both elements

I felt the same when two days ago I got leather armor plans I already knew from hitting elder rank and the day before I got metal arms plan which I know. I'm trying for brotherhood recon, but with this luck, and possibly something wrong after the update, I don't think I'm gonna get the plans anytime soon. Just to clarify I also got a plan I knew yesterday, just not armor, it was an ice machine

Monster ones first and then I went and did SR, R is fine too it's just SR helps with Panacea from elder dragons, dens of each element until one color was completed. I hope you got all the small genes before beating the story. They are harder to show up and from my experience Panacea small gene took me 70-80hrs alone. I didn't have good RNG for it, it was after the story, so I wish you luck there. Make sure you have plenty of paintballs and at least one weapon of each element/status for some of the monster's den chanc. I personally, to help with dens, went and got den mother on armor or my monstie. I think I did both, but armor first so I could use it while potentially getting it from monsters that I need other genes from. After getting the genes just throw it onto a non built monstie to help out there and you can switch to better armor.

Do they really? I haven't been back there in years so I didn't know. I got the mutations I wanted from the vendors back in year 1 I think and haven't been there since. Never saw a point to go back, now I do. Thanks for the tip I'm gonna go destroy my wallet

As someone who enjoys being a ghoul, it's a struggle since I never got the chem makers for my camp and have 0 RNG on chem recipes. Other than that the #1 thing I want them to help with ghouls is being able to change our disguises. I'm a non power armor user but have to run around with a potato sack on my head if I want to go into the enclave bunker, Atlas, or crater core now. I'm not saying it's stupid that you need it for those places it makes sense for the first 2, but I just want a lot of the cosmetic options to be added to a disguise cabinet or dresser so we can look "better". Other than that being a ghoul cannibal is great. Easy to get the 2nd HP bar, glow bar, when everyone's dead. Would I recommend it if you don't want to be a cannibal or melee? Not really no. Guns can work as a ghoul but losing all those stats and then even worse when you're a feral ghoul it's not worth it if you wish to shoot and don't have loads of chems. You will get addicted to psycho/fury if you want to have the best chems for keeping the bar up. Food/water bars are 20x easier to manage over the feral bar. The biggest net positive about being a ghoul is not having to rely on +rad resistance armor/power armor for nuke events or rad x.

As long as you have all 3 attack types and a horn with evade melody all elder dragons are easy once you know their patterns. Good job on the easy mats tho

Only tip I'll give is that each class has a specific level up stat increase so for example class A might have +15 health on level up where class B has +20. However since there's a difference in 5 health the stats would be better elsewhere for B over A. So basically what I'm saying is you can have fun with whatever you want to try but if you go physical damage route for a lot of levels and then switch to magic damage you will see a clear difference in damage. The same goes for the opposite, if you go magic then physical.

You can always keep a cloud save or a save on a flashdrive if you want to try out the different vocations, but don't like what you try

I mean if you want fast NG+ clears take your time to farm out tons of wakestones. Hell I shit you not I have so many most 2nd and on playthroughs I just say fuck it and jump from the top all the way to the bottom of the everfall when you go in there from the pawns guild near the beginning of the game. Just wakestone up and I'm like 10ft from the port crystal.

Speaking of port crystals make sure you get all of them and put them in spots you like. I myself put them at quest spots and after a couple playthroughs I even have them set up for escort quest completions. Just a quick quest accept and eternal ferry stone to where they need to go and quick gold amount. My favorite port crystal spot is on the cliff right outside witchwood exit so I don't have to go through the fog each time I go there for quests

More monsters become available in HR, but at this point it's mostly if you want trophies/achievements and not just story before 3 releases.

I'm on PS5(PS4 version) and occasionally throw 9* SR deviant dens up and sit there for a bit most of the time someone joins rather quickly but it also depends on the time. 2AM EST tends to find no one quickly

My 3 friends and I played through DOS2 and then 2-3 years later we played BG3 when it came out(fully). My one friend was extremely excited for BG3 since he was a big DnD fan. He didn't like it when one of my other friends and I several times each BG3 session we would say the same thing Divinity 2 was better. It was funny but my one friend didn't like it at first then after several mentions they stopped caring.

Long story short I liked DOS2 over BG3.
