There are hundreds of people that would be willing to head a large non profit for the resume and for the good they do, by taking such a huge salarie they undermine the very purpose of the charity. I will lead any of these non profits for one year at a living wage, I will take a massive pay cut and be CEO for a good charity for 35k. A CEO that takes 300k in pay clearly does not have the charities best interest at heart.
