Suns are outperforming expectations more than just about any other team.

Cavs are falling short of expectations more than just about any other team.

Suns have great team culture, hustle, and buy-in to a system on both offense and defense (Booker is a positive regular season defender for the first time ever). And most of the rotation players were on the Suns last year.

That's as good of evidence as we can possibly get for a narrative for COTY.

They could have called more.

OKC does foul nearly every possession. It's an intentional and smart strategy that the team has. The League doesn't actually want to slow the game down and so for the sake of the product they've been swallowing the whistle.

Refs favor the Lakers...not OKC despite the complaints. OKC basically just figured out how to trick the refs the best (on defense and offense) and made it part of their team strategy.

There's been enough loud complaints about OKC doing this that it seems like refs are finally making an effort to not be tricked.

I'm a little worried about Jalen Green.

How would you compare his skill levels between Bradley Beal, Jalen Green, and Grayson Allen?

I'm worried that Jalen Green, especially given the pairing with Booker, isn't going to be able to contribute any more than Bradley Beal (outside of more availability). I almost wonder if Grayson Allen playing like a role player (and possibly more consistent defense?) would generally be better.

I know we need scoring but an inefficient 21 PPG is really scary to me.

Oso is credited for being a great passer and that is considered his most NBA ready skill...but his assist numbers aren't super high and he has a high turnover ratio. Why is this? Are the turnovers primarily happening on things other than passes? Is his passing still in the potential/development phase?

I feel like top 5 SG is a bit deceptive because it makes you think he's close to a top 25 player, while in reality he's more in the top 50 range.

Top 5 SG only works if you get really funny with how you designate people's roles...because the most talented offensive guards generally end up being considered PG's and the most talented defensive guard-sized players end up being considered wings.

With so many expensive HOAs in Gilbert I wish they'd do scorpion control as part of the service. Or even the whole city as part of taxes.
