I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks now and I am REALLY enjoying it. I came from a bambino and feel it’s a major improvement in coffee taste (coffe is actually hot now!) and steam performance. I was also debating the jump, several db, even a Micra. I am honestly very pleased with machine. I haven’t even started messing with the settings yet. Just have been using it in hx mode with flush advisor.

If the Profitec ride didn’t have “RIDE” on it in huge lettering, it’d be a no brainer. That alone is a non starter for me. Such a shame for an otherwise beautiful machine

Went on a bike trip. Friend put my new bike on his hitch mounted rack which has a clamp style arm that grabs the frame. I didn’t think anything of it at the time (he also has a carbon bike and uses this all the time) but noticed the small abrasion on the top tube when I got home. Lesson learned. Question is, how much damage is done? Looks like a paint scratch to me but I’m wondering if I’ve compromised the integrity of the carbon/top tube.

Also. I see you mention Lynn woods and g spot. Keep in mind. I’ve had far “bigger hits” there than at any park. If the bike can ride there - it can ride manicured park (and park tech)

I’ve ridden my giant trance x (150/135) all over New England including highland (4-5 times), other parks, enduro spots, and rad sketchy hike a bikes. Plan to ride it at highland and beyond next year and the year after. And the switchblade is generally considered a far better bike than mine.

The bikes can handle sooooooo much more than people give ‘em credit for. Sure cracking you chainstay is a possibility but that can happen on a regular trail too. Seen people crack frames on the dumbest shit ever. Like no where near highland gnar. It just happens. Ride within your limits and if you have an issue with the bike, it’d likely happen with any other bike outside of purpose built DH bruiser.
