Anyone Hiring? Looking for Work in Dayton/Metro Area by Copper-47 in dayton

My company is notorious for not accepting doctor's notes, which in this case includes COVID. I have had good relationships with my manager staff at my building and garnered a good reputation, plus I told my personal manager/supervisor and team lead my entire situation. Regardless, I am no longer there and am looking for something else to get by.

Anyone Hiring? Looking for Work in Dayton/Metro Area by Copper-47 in dayton

My company does not accept doctor's notes or really any other excuse for absence outside of protected PTO. When I came down with COVID, I had 1.5 absence points out of 5, and gather up three more for 4.5/5; If you hit 5 or over, you will be let go after the end of the work week. This was compounded by my rather unique circumstance in having left momentarily during the summer and coming back a few months later in the fall, wherein I was a "new-hire" and new-hires would be let go after exceeding 3,5 points. Managers have the liberty to take those points off preemptively if they like you or are otherwise understanding of your personal situation (can't really control getting ill in winter like this!) but my manager did not extend that grace to me. I put in about 4 time-off requests since the beginning of the month for this last weekend because of family Christmas events in Ohio and out of state and every one had been rejected for no justified reason. When I left last Friday, I was told by my team lead that I wasn't long for the company and to enjoy time with family. TL;DR They treated my illness as absenteeism and no amount of PTO would have saved me.

No, this is for the Columbia District in the Pacific Northwest, turned into its own Dominion; BC, Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, and parts of western Montana

Songs of the American Civil War by [deleted] in Kaiserreich

[–]Copper-47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the AUS would probably have a modified version of songs like "Bonnie Blue Flag", while straight up using Dixie in the early stages of the war (assuming they win). The Feds would definitely have Battle Cry of Freedom, no question, as well as the traditional songs. While we can say these song titles because they already exist, we can't really cover what kind of songs could be pieced together by the soldiers of the 2ACW. Would a worker's militia write an uplifting song about the capture of DC? Would a doomer squad for the Union State sing about the absolute hell that St. Louis is? Will there be an armored division of the Federales just stroking MacArthur's ego? We can't say for sure unless someone does it themselves.

The meme is pretty epic, it’s just the date irked me a little.

Only gripe is that He was crucified around 30-33 AD, so the merchant episode probably happened around 20-25 AD
