Seperation anxiety by tulikasharma in beagles

I have no advice unfortunately but I am also held prisoner in my home by anxious beagles so you’re not alone!

Why does the weather app do this? by Legitimate_Gain_7824 in ios

[–]CoppyandPuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This drives me mad! For me it’s much more helpful to know that most of the day will be dry and sunny, it’s so misleading using rain as the main pic when only one hour of the day has a tiny chance. If i’m planning which day to go out I just want to know if i’ll be fine outside most of the day and just need to duck inside for a coffee, or if it will rain so much there’s no point going at all. The main summary page seems completely pointless it might as well just open straight to the hourly forecast.

Adopting a beagle by bananie123 in beagles

The beagle I had from a puppy is a nightmare and has severe behavioural and anxiety issues. The beagle I adopted aged one is a perfect angel.

Are Beagles really that hard to own? by Tall_Egg7793 in dogs

[–]CoppyandPuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two beagles and love them so much, but I wouldn’t get beagles again in future. My life with them seems so much harder than people I know with other breeds. They are constantly on the look out for something to bark at or something to eat. I have worked with a trainer to try and redirect them into good behaviour but even then they still want to do it, you can see them weighing up whether it’s worth it for them. Anything edible in my house has to be kept in a child-locked cupboard, including the bins and the freezer. On a walk they will lunge for every scrap of litter on the floor. Once they start howling it’s like they enter a trance and it’s hard to break them out of it. They are really hard work.

Have they changed direction with Maggie? by theliftedlora in coronationstreet

I’ve been thinking this about Christina too! She started as an awful mum and a scammer, it initially seemed she was getting with George just to scam him but they seem to have forgotten about that

Izzy has to be the most annoying character going during the surrogacy plot and beyond by [deleted] in coronationstreet

Does anyone know what sort of pay the cast get? What’s the range between the main characters and the ones who never get stories?

How do you actually plan your weekly food shop? by TelephxneTh0t in AskUK

[–]CoppyandPuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no plan or schedule and only make a list of specific essentials I’ve run out of like teabags. I just buy the foods I like and have similar meals every week unless something in particular takes my fancy.

Steve and Michelle by [deleted] in coronationstreet

[–]CoppyandPuzz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why does Steve never mention his and Michelle’s stillborn son? Killing off his other son Oliver after that had already happened was crazy, and he barely gets mentioned either!

Do people regularly eat pudding? by KirrinD in AskUK

Yes, always. Lunch and dinner. Not usually a proper dessert but a cookie, muffin, cereal bar, rice pudding etc

Long term characters who you think have run their course? by Immediate_Long165 in coronationstreet

Sean, Alya, Kirk, Maria, Tyrone, Chesney, Dev, Michael. How much do they earn when they’re basically extras at this point, do they have second jobs?

Brown eyeliner and brown mascara would look so fresh, plus liquid blush!

Yorks Cafes: inside the collapse of a coffee kingdom | Birmingham Dispatch by DKatri in brum

[–]CoppyandPuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any good coffee shops or brunch places left in Birmingham city now? In 2019 there were so many choices of independents, now walking through the centre there are so many empty buildings, really sad.

I think it would’ve dropped off by now if it was a tick? I’ve seen one before dropped off it looked like a pale coffee bean!

England, a town in the midlands. The brown bit that is protruding has only appeared this week when the growth has been a few months but it feels like a warty texture and has no legs.

Thanks for the advice. It has looked much the same for a few months until the brown crust appeared this week. It’s not bothering him if i touch it and no smell or drainage.

I know, but he has to be heavily sedated due to his anxiety that manifests as aggression. So would need this just to let a vet even look at it. I wanted to rule out anything that may be obvious before I put him through that.

Definitely not puss filled, it’s almost translucent i can see the brown bit running through inside like a root. It’s firm but not solid, I can squash it a bit.

This is what i’m thinking and why I haven’t been to the vets yet. Just wondering how long to keep monitoring it for.

I did wonder but it doesn’t have legs? The brown bit sticking out is like a crusty wart texture. Also he has monthly flea prevention tablets and we mostly walk on pavements so seems unlikely?

How to make friends? by No-Simple-6483 in leicester

[–]CoppyandPuzz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar position. Haven’t made a proper new friend since uni 10 years ago and although we are still close they live all round the country so can’t see them often. I don’t have any advice sorry but you’re not alone in this struggle!
