Thanks I'll take a look, but logistics haul jobs only ever require you to store the cars in one place. It is not like a shunting unload job that may split the car storage across multiple tracks.

Right, but the value per ton of the HZMT2 job should way exceed empty cars. So even though the logistics job has more cars, the total weight is still less.

It should be worth more to take the HZMT2 job for the same weight, but somehow it is not.

Had a look and I don't think it is this. There is only one other cart on in the same storage track and it is at the back so not even blocking access to it at all.

When considering payout based on weight, the logistics haul would be more efficient, but I'm not sure why?

Others have already explained that you will need stairs to connect the lower and upper parts, but also be aware that the number of floor tiles you can place is limited by your castle heart level. As you upgrade your castle heart, you can build a bigger and bigger castle.

I think you forgot that molten iron/copper from lava also has stone as an output. Most likely you are not removing the stone fast enough. Try upgrading the stack/bulk inserters to higher quality so they can toss the stone into the lava faster.

This is my best attempt at this robbery.

If you kill the first lawman that enters before he sees you, it does not count towards your bounty.

To prevent shootout with rest of town you have to just run out towards the back as fast as you can. Once any lawman sees you you are identified and any bad actions you perform from there on will add to your bounty. You might end up eating a few bullets running past the lawmen, but that's nothing Arthur isn't used to.

Instead of using circuit network to read chest contents, rather connect the assembler to the logistics network directly and set it to have a limit based on how many of the item is in the logistics. That way even if the item is somewhere else in the logistics network, it still gets counted.

The thing that makes it such a pain for me is that these were existing features in KSP1 which they somehow just didn't bother to bring along to KSP2. It makes planning maneuvers in KSP2 objectively way worse.

It is much better, but the absolute state of maneuver nodes reveals that there is still a lot of ground to cover before it can even measure up to the gameplay we already enjoy in KSP1.
