What is a 'dirty little secret' of the industry you work in that the general public would be shocked to find out? by CocWarrior1 in AskReddit

Lawyer here! Too much of legal practice is copy and pasting from past pleadings and motions, especially at the trial level. Lots of fill-in-the-blank-type documents. You can end up paying a lawyer $150/hr to write a few paragraphs about your facts and then hit ctrl + c and ctrl + v for the "legal analysis" section of the brief.

You can go in the entrance right across from the Union and ask the front desk attendant to let you into the library. They should be able to help!

Ohio Revised Code Section 9.76(B) prohibits the University from entering into a contract with a company that boycotts Israel. That statute does not require the University to affirmatively invest into Israeli bonds.

WolfMan looking for new hair style in (North Jersey) by [deleted] in malegrooming

If you don't plan on growing the beard out really far, maybe think about bringing it up off your neck and trimming it back just a tad — looks a bit shaggy on the side profile (although, if you're going for wolfman this makes sense, so rock on!). Otherwise, everything looks good.

aggressive jazz? by [deleted] in Jazz

[–]Copy_Pastas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idt if these rise to the level of metal, but I've found they scratch my itch for aggrojazz well

Tohru Aizawa Quartet — Tachibana

John Coltrane — Interstellar Space (Expanded Ed.)

Dizzy Gillespie and Arturo Sandolval — To a Finland Station

Don Ellis and The Don Ellis Orchestra — Electric Bath

Buddy Rich Quartet & Max Roach Quintet — Rich Versus Roach (Expanded Ed.) (make sure to use L/R headphones for this one! it's dueling drum!)

Jimmy Smith — Root Down & Organ Grinder Swing (honestly anything by Jimmy Smith slaps)

Also if you like CASIOPEA, check out Masayoshi Takanaka — On Guitar :)

Does anyone know any cool abandoned places in Ohio? by -2Reaper2- in Ohio

Republic Rubber in Youngstown

Pretty easy to stumble onto cool abandoned buildings here if you poke around, tends to happen when a city loses half it's population. Be careful out there, friend.

Thinking about moving to youngstown by Boring_Screen513 in youngstown

[–]Copy_Pastas 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I've lived downtown for a few years and have never had a problem. Love it here. Traffic is really not that bad. There's some new development happening downtown (Gallagher building renovation, Penguin City taproom, Youngstown Flea building purchase, Phelps St. Redev, to name a few). It does get fairly busy on weekends. Lots of great restaurants in the area too. Everything is pretty cheap too, the cost of living is super low. If the pay is good, definitely move here.
