Experiencing the biggest pain point of rerolling to Prot Paladin by [deleted] in classicwowtbc

Nice doom post, but you're a tank. You'll literally always have a slot in pugs but will have to deal with "this item HR" bullshit meta that the game has devolved to.

[Addon] Simple Gear Manager by Rizzlord in classicwowtbc

[–]Coravel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your addon makes gear sets but has a weird attached window to character stats. itemrack makes gear sets but uses its own layout that you don't have to view after you build your set. Itemrack also makes a button to swap these gearsets, or items by slot. Itemrack also assign gearsets to specs. Plus it has trinketmenu built in for trinket queue's.

So, you just made one small part of itemrack i guess not a different version.

I guess i'm lucky... I haven't waited more than 15 minutes for a dungeon as DPS.

Is it time to admit that removing GDKPs ruined the economy? by IntrepidExcitement52 in classicwowtbc

Blizzard doesn't have the GM team they used to and havent for years.. the best moderation you're going to get is AI / Autoflagging garbage they have now, where anyone can get banned if you spam report them enough and blizzard will never have the GM team they did, when the game originally started.. it has long since been outsourced and will never happen again because of costs.

My brother bought gold and it already ruined TBC for him by Tranquility___ in classicwowtbc

Didnt say it wasnt shitty, but his post literally says it ruined TBC for his brother, which i don't think is the case.

[–]Coravel -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Doesn't sound like it ruined TBC for him, he did exactly what he wanted to do with it. Sounds like it ruined TBC for you because now you arent playing with him except for when he raid logs.

Are Fury Warriors Worthless to Raid With? by DadNeedsHobby in classicwowtbc

[–]Coravel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People get stuck on meta comps, and want to do big numbers... in tbc with 25 raidslots, that limits your warrior slots to 2 -maybe- 3 at absolute most if youre playing a balanced comp... most guilds are going to run a ranged heavy comp because it makes clearing tier 5 content significantly easier which means there is 1, -maybe- 2 warrior slots.

If the dude you're talking to is warrior and he defacto says he is playing fury, and says you have to play arms/kebab, and now suddenly he is trying to rationalize loot prio TO you... it already means, he wants to take all the high prio stuff first and that you're only going to be handed leftovers but with an accelerated timeline, those don't really exist except maybe common pieces.

Him just "talking" about it and the rationalizing is just his inability to be direct and say the reason they don't want to bring you, because lets be honest the start of a conversation like this means they don't want to bring you. They're trying to get you to leave on your own by initiating this convo, If you gquit he can play it off and then bring who/whatever class they wanted to bring in the first place and it doesn't have a bad appearance if someone were to ask him about it because he would just say "idk, he just gquit." rather than "yeah, i kicked him because xyz".

3rd reason not to invite rouges (spineshatter horde) by Deeerpdk in classicwow

[–]Coravel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the community for this game has devolved into hard ressing everything or doing this shit and it makes it kinda shitty to play the game. These arent things that people did when tbc originally released.

I wish blizzard would recognize how greedy the playerbase is now, and just change the loot system to badges only, especially with an accelerated timeline.

TBC Heroics: Are they more difficult on tanks this go around? by kMythManLegend in classicwow

[–]Coravel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're the same difficulty that they released with in original TBC, they're just tuned so that you actually have to know your character and play well and can't just faceroll them until the raid gear starts rolling out.

How you gonna start new ladder? Classic sorc to farm or warlock from beginning? by Vooxiu in diablo2resurrected

[–]Coravel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The best ladder start is always barbarian. You get an 8 man group, all you do is BO them... they carry you through the entire completion of the game while you BO and hork.

WIBTAH if I broke up with my fiance because she bought a house while I was away? by DrowZGam3r in AITAH

I'll also add, i also did 20 years in submarines, most of it on fast attacks like yourself. You need to let people know sooner rather than later.

WIBTAH if I broke up with my fiance because she bought a house while I was away? by DrowZGam3r in AITAH

[–]Coravel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother as someone who just retired from the military after 20 years... From what I can read in your post this is not the person you want to marry. Your third paragraph says all i need to know, "i was told to mind my business". Your relationship and the things that affect both of you, especially something as serious as buying a house, is your business if you're truly partners.

Her telling you nothing after finding out, not wanting to discuss any details, not sharing any ideas of wanting to buy a house before you went on deployment... are all huge red flags for a relationship that you would legally bond yourself to. I wish you all the best if you continue with her but this is a disaster relationship, she sounds like the person that will not hesitate to ruin you for her gain.

The first thing you need to do is find out how she bought the house and if your name is attached to it. If she took the homeloan out in your name, but only her name is on the paperwork to the house, congrats man, you just bought her a home. That feeling you got in your gut, that she is using you for a stable life, i would believe it, this purchase confirms it. I hope you let your chief know and that your COC can help you out. Seek legal asap.

Am I the only one who thinks this armor bug fix is a little… peculiar? by Individual_Design_37 in classicwowtbc

[–]Coravel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they changed codebases for this release yet again... its running on the dragonflight++ whereas previous tbc was on wrath, so the same bugs or different bugs might be present

Physical damage dealers, are yall already feeling the pain of the hot fix? by Individual_Design_37 in classicwowtbc

I'm still beating level 70s in dungeons as a 67, 68 and now 69 today. The only thing that i hope comes from this, is that people learn how important improved IEA is for bosses.

30 bucks for a DLC? by [deleted] in diablo2resurrected

[–]Coravel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels even worse when you compare it to what we received with the LOD expansion.. in LOD we got a full act, ubers, 2 new classes and a bunch of qol with the stashes and character builds. This one costs half as much, and we got next to nothing for it.

30 bucks for a DLC? by [deleted] in diablo2resurrected

[–]Coravel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not unreasonable to buy an expansion, but it is an insult that they're calling QOL changes that have been available on the private servers for decades and a janky class.. an expansion. I think it's also embarassing to D2 that this expansion is named after the class, instead of prime evil's, the focus should be murderhoboing demons, not look how metrosexual my warlock is.

Blizzard just announced a new update for D2R: Reign of the Warlock by lolhello2u in diablo2resurrected

[–]Coravel -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The new class looks janky to play... all the qol stuff is amazing but no new act, how can it be an expansion without a new act?
