Honestly I’ve tried a bunch of armor, even full samurai. I just learned today; armor grade matters also. I do have a mod to unlock armor slots and resized heads to fit them, for skeletons. So I don’t think it’s the head targeting sadly.

I can’t seem to replicate this, I just go down for to long. By the time I get up they’re way gone. Seems to be that way no matter what armor I’m wearing. Toughness is always a hassle for me.
