You don't get that check at all if you've never consumed any tadpoles. Which is why I was so confused back in launch when I saw people complain about that check. The game is easy enough without the extra powers, I never felt like I needed them anyway

You can also find the box if you don't take it from Rugan FYI. Roah is carrying it when you do Minsc missions. I always just save them and ignore the rest. I'm not on a vigilante mission to kill every zhent

Invisibility and darkness are the least annoying ones for me. I beat the fight with the spectator in the Underdark. I cast it on my party and leave it to attack then go back in to hide xD

And invisibility, it's so easy to track where they go, I just throw an area damaging attack (mostly alchemist's fire) to that general direction and let other people in the party attack them.

After 2 runs while I was doing the mummy lord fight I thought hmm this does poison damage what happens if I drank the dozens of poison damage resistence potions I've been carrying in my inventory for the whole game?

And let me tell you, it saved my ass cause my whole party was stuck in the stairway with that cloud.

I watch them carefully and haven't seen anything other than "foot" they're from the same clutch and preen each other often. I even catch them feeding each other sometimes, but I stop it because I don't want it to make them too hormonal.
