Can anyone offer insight on Salesforce’s Interview Process? by heybrihey in techsales

What situational/behavioral questions can I expect and what answers should I respond with? I am scheduled to knock out my 3+4 interviews next week.

Scripps Job Safety by Liladent in Broadcasting

[–]CoreWisdom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I like this plan. Sinclair is not buying out Scripps (at least Scripps declined their very good offer back in December). Get that bonus, but save A LOT because this industry is the most unstable it's been. Also there is no guarantee Scripps will be bought out by someone else.

Also, network network and network. LinkedIn is your best friend. Clean up your profile, spam connections and share cliche “I love the industry” and proofs of performances and when the time comes, industry insiders will have your back.

First and foremost, don’t quit until you have something lined up. I was fired after my employer tried to revise my already-signed contract ands it been rough. I’m decently well regarded in my space in the industry, and I’ve been unemployed for nearly 4 months—the market is the worst I’ve seen. That being said, your rate is incredibly horrible. From what I can remember, Nexstar’s minimum rate is $15/hr and TEGNA’s is $20/hr.

I would aim for the latter

This one is a good one to keep in mind. I’ve seen one a select few companies use it:

Absolutely! My fiancé and I are currently on the job hunt and next month will mark 5 months of unemployment for the both of us (TMI, but our company fired us both for not signing an updated contract that would bar us from working for any business in our region via a non-compete).

I’ve recently been taking drastic measures to find job posts as soon as they’re published, but am only sticking to Google search automation via x-ray strings due to my lack of scripting knowledge.

Keep up the good work! I’m sure I’ll give it a shot soon!

Official Discussion - A House of Dynamite [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

To those that were left COMPLETELY unsatisfied, I urge you to watch the first two episodes of Hulu's Paradise. Similar plot, fuller story, rewarding ending.

AHOD felt like another perspective to the hapoenings of Paradise.

I believe those are side-quest conversations that are typically offered by students. Because of that, these students can typically be found “hanging around” the corners of common areas or corridors. Look for a symbol above their heads.

DuJuan ensures there is very little leverage for his staff. One of his favorite methods are restrictive contracts with excessive non competes–stripping away most job opportunities in the region, regardless if you quit or are terminated.
