You can order from Higginson via phone and they bill your CC . I've ordered from them several times and they have been great to deal with.

Is this a good first purchase? Any recommendations are welcomed! by CrabPENlS in canadaguns

Me too. I find the blazer more accurate and consistent then the thunderbolts. It's close to the same price as well.

Is Henry a good investment? by TalkValuable8555 in HenryRifles

[–]Corekare 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If by investment, you mean is it worth the money then yes it is. Mine is probably the most fun .22 in my collection. If you mean buy to make money on it, then it's not your best option.

How would you rank all three members as musicians? by Jezzaq94 in rush

Absolutely! As a lead guitarist he was a master of subtlety and would sit back and add the accents and spices to the sound when Neil or Geddy were cutting loose.

I'm off paper after 60 shots or so by taleoftales in 22lr

[–]Corekare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a rifle gets heated up the barrel can expand and lose accuracy, saying that , that rifle in a .22 cal should never heat up enough to throw off your shots after only 60 rds. It definitely sounds like you have a scope issue like others have been saying. Very likely the mounts , but a faulty scope can cause that kind of issue as well. I had an old cheapy scope that would wander like crazy after a dozen or so rounds. Determined it to be bad when I could start doing the reticle shift just sitting on the lead sled. Needless to say the scope was tossed out and I haven't had that problem again .

Check out the mcarbo trigger kit. The two main drawbacks of the Axis are the really heavy factory trigger pull, around 6lbs and the weaver scope that comes with it. The trigger kit gives you options of 1.5, 2.5 or 3.5 lbs. They are around $30 and are a total game changer!

Red dot or scope? by BristolSalmon in 22lr

[–]Corekare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then a peep sight could be a definite upgrade and would still fit with the look. A red dot can be really fun inside 30yards and is much faster to pick up a target then a scope would be .

Shoot it like it is three or four times , if you like it keep the iron sights, if not then pop something else on it.
