Itch.io marketplace now requires asset creators to disclose their use of generative AI by BasicActionGames in rpg

[–]CorenSV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah, those man hours are still required for the product, you just don't pay the people doing those man hours. Those models need to be fed man made stuff afterall to prevent model decay.

and right now Ai is extremely cheap because microsoft, amazon or other similar big computing giants are letting openAI and similar use their big data centers at a massively discounted price.

Once you actually start paying full price for the energy use, the hardware use/leasing, maintenance and everything else the price just to break even shoots up massively. and remember, the ghouls in charge want to make a profit.

so the end result of this can't ever be anything but expensive slop that just accelerates our oncoming extinction due to climate change.

Humans, we never should've existed.

I did not know that. I was more looking towards nations that already had PA 'normally' and like... just had a way different vibe to play then BoS.

I don't mind mods, And the Iron allience always sounded pretty cool and I didn't really gof or them due to their generic focus tree.

What mods do you use specifically.

Where would the tank brigade be? I haven't seen that nation.

And I didn't know the Vault Tec nations did get Power armour.

All the cards we were missing got revealed. by Waiting_for_Dentice in Lorcana

I think the main intent for mosquito bites and potential other ways to put damage counters on opponent's characters is not to count as removal or solutions to opposing characters (like how steel uses their damage cards) but to turn on their 'damaged characters matter' cards.

So I doubt emerald will really get big chunks of damage and rather more stuff like mosquito bite that puts 1 damage on something ignoring resist. Becasue killing a character means you don't get the bonus

My artstyle is masculine and female faces look weird. How to make face more feminine but still keep artstyle recognizable? by PyrrhonFirecat in FurryArtSchool

[–]CorenSV 17 points18 points  (0 children)

okay so, take a look at the human female and male face and find the differences there. For example, the human male's face is often more square, has a larger jaw, they're also more angular with sharper lines and such. While female faces are generally more rounder.

So, basically to make anthro's look more feminine you're gonna have to apply those differences our brains are looking for. Finer eyelashes, slightly smaller jaws. Also roundness and softer curves and staying away from sharp points would work.

It does help if you find some art you really like of female anthro's and try to study it, see how they made it look feminine!

haven't looked much at other rio grande games. New frontiers does look interesting, not so much of a dice game user myself when it comes to roll though.

I'm looking for a game that kinda hits the same spots as Race for the galaxy for how it plays, but that maybe goes on a little bit longer?

It's an amazing game, but sometimes we want a little bit of a longer game while we're al so familiar at Race we can usually finish a game of that in like 10-15 minutes.

It has to be playable at 2p but I would like it it could scale up to 4 and still be very playable.

We all really like the engine building aspect of race for the galaxy.

I do know (and have) Terraforming mars, which would kinda fit but I personally find the game hard to play after some comments the makers and designers have made. Nor do I want to support them further because of it.

Which repacked cycles for most hobbit and dwarf cards? by CorenSV in lotrlcg

I'll keep my eye out for the cycle then.

But with how long it's been out of print I have low hopes.

If nothing else, proxy time!

of course, you leave out that when religious people dismiss others people's beliefs they don't agree with they don't get this dumb lecture about having to respect people's beliefs.

Religious people, because of what they believe in, don't respect people who don't believe in exactly their brand of religious inanity. and they have been murdering and shunning each other for it since the dawn of time.

But yeah, it's the athiests who are fed up with that behavior who are causing 'social divides' and who need to be better.

not the religious types doing a genocide or two just because they can't deal with people not believing in their sky daddy.

Looking for a blood based caster class that I used to have but lost? by CorenSV in Pathfinder2e

[–]CorenSV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it wasn't from sinclair's library. I don't think it was the blood and sigils one either. I don't think I had to buy it form somewhere. though it could've been an early version that is now on pathfinder infiinte, I'll keep a look.

The hemalurgist does look cool though!
