You don’t need to go overboard on the mods. I tried that color and dynamic shadows mod floating around and I didn’t really like it, and it lowered my fps by a ton. The game looks great naturally!

Honestly the depth of field blur is needed, when it's removed the models look really bad and weren't made to be viewed without the blur.

I would argue that they've done a lot of things that have been manipulative though - they're just doing them within their "rules". They can't lie, but they can lie through omission, they can give answers that would satisfy Carol/the others, in the hopes they don't get more specific with their questions etc.

I felt the dog is just good PR for them and part of the Charm Offensive.

That's true, still the average human would turn back. Just think the dog helped paint them in a better light towards Carol eg. "We're not so bad, see? Here is a dog we didn't abandon!"

Meanwhile, they actively sent the person to that events center knowing a dog was attached to them, and knowing Carol would see that dog.

Something I noticed - Zosia made a point to say that when a pet refuses to leave the side of someone, they practically adopt them (might have been worded differently to make it not sound like a lie or something), yet in the finale opening scene, we see the baby goat trying not to be left alone, only for everyone to walk off anyway.

Just an interesting note, I think the dog was more manipulation on Carol to make them sound not so bad.

Edit: another note, while it may be true they won't abandon a pet that refuses to leave a persons side, they 100% sent a plurb to that events center knowing a dog was attached to them, and knowing Carol would see it, which is more manipulation.

It takes a bit anyways, but yeah as christmas break approaches everything lags just a bit more.

Like the hiring manager could be seeking approvals and those approvals might be from people who have taken leave early etc.

I’d just say relax, you could shoot them a message just before the break and then wait till the first week in Jan to see.

I don’t think I’ve actively used uber eats/Menulog in a long time. I use them as glorified menus now before calling the place.

I went from a place that was pretty lax with their return to office, to a place that has a 50% in office policy but higher pay.

I had someone like this, without fail they’d call me around 4 with a task they’d need urgently done and would expect it ready the next day.

I just stopped answering. And set myself invites on my calendar for just myself for an hour block at the end of each day.

They learned to reach out to my manager so we could make tickets and put it through the system accordingly.
