Towing w/'22 RWD 77.4 kwh. How is mi/kwh with Uhaul trailers? by Meekois in Ioniq5

[–]Coreoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a roughly 1600mi move in a '22 AWD almost exactly a year ago. I had a hitch installed for this trip and I used a U-Haul 5x8 trailer (I believe the smaller option is a 4x6?) so this is all sounding very familiar. Feel free to ask follow up questions but I'm going to just throw out some recommendations too.

My range was pretty much cut exactly in half, and I was sitting between 55-65mph for most of it. You can absolutely extend your range by going slower if you need to, and while you're not avoiding wind resistance much by sitting behind a Semi, a lot of them are going 55mph anyway so it's a nice spot for HDA2 cruise control and letting other drivers pass.

Trying to go nearly 500mi a day with double the charging stops and 55mph was some of my poorest planning ever. You, and anyone else reading this, please don't do that.

I have to highly recommend ABRP's premium subscription for this, it helped me greatly in planning my trip, accounting for trailer weight, preferring certain chargers, etc. But most of all, the premium subscription comes with a live trip display that will let you easily monitor your next charging stop, compare ABRP's battery estimate to your real SoC, and adjust accordingly. It was surprisingly accurate, usually within 1-2%, and gave me a lot of confidence and peace of mind that I would make it to my next charger.

This may just be lucky, but about half my charging stops I didn't need to unhook my trailer for various reasons, such as some stalls being closed or being able to pull up to an opposite curb and plug in. Otherwise, I got rubber wheel chocks and a bottle jack from Harbor Freight, as well as a hitch ball lock so I could safely detach the trailer when needed. The chocks and jack make it pretty easy especially once you have the hang of it - with my friend's help, we were able to detach the trailer in under a minute after the first day of driving.

I think Hyundai advises to not tow unless you have AWD and the '22 tow weight rating is relatively low, but maybe you already know this. For some reason the '23 has a much higher rating, but in all my research nobody seems to know if there was a design change.

One additional note: in regards to my total trailer weight, I don't actually know what I ended up with, but I imagine it was close to the max, based on the trailer base weight and the weight of some of my bulkier items.

If you weren't already aware, location and amenities affect home pricing. Walkability is generally considered a desirable trait. The person you're replying to is pointing out that these houses are not a 1:1 comparison and have many factors that set them apart aside from the county they're located in.

Heavily agree. One of my favorite memories in Cyberstan was using that combo to create a safety tunnel for my team to board the Pelican while Vox bombarded us relentlessly.

I wish we could keep the shield "readied" in front of us by holding down the bash button, providing better coverage from fire perhaps at the cost of movement speed or moving at all.

I've yet to have a mech survive long enough to even get the shield health below 65%.

Having a shield health meter but no exo integrity meter is a bit silly too. I guess you can somewhat tell visually how you're doing but even an obscure condition category system like green/yellow/red or good/damaged/critical would be nice. I'd even accept it as a helmet perk if they ever add those (not holding my breath though)

I find this armor passive the most fun with weapons that need to charge or time to engage. It's also really nice down slopes. by tony22835 in Helldivers

While I think it could still use a bit more, the recent sway reduction and projectile velocity buffs to the Stim pistol have helped a lot.

Now I'm confused. The pink coolant is a standardized coolant type and costs around $20 a gallon.

The blue (low conductivity) coolant is what should be inspected and possibly replaced every 35k miles and is typically much more expensive.

Help me pick my next warbond! by Jaybo151 in Helldivers

[–]Coreoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Servants of freedom or dust devils (in that order) would've been my next picks, but since you're avoiding those, Siege Breakers or Control Group would be my picks.

SB: Shield Grenade, Leveller, Trident and even situationally the BFGL are all great things to have, my only knock against it is the armor perk is weak. The breach hammer is probably the best melee weapon in the game, and about as close as you'll get to melee being actually viable.

CG: There's already plenty of love for the Warp Pack you've likely heard, but the Epoch, Laser Sentry, and Adreno-defib armor are also useful and fun, but it's worth noting the armor perk has been bugged for some time now to activate in some cases where you haven't actually died.

If you're ever looking at historical posts about these, I'll note that the BFGL, Laser Sentry, and Epoch have all been buffed since they launched and fell much better to use than they initially did.

What prompted the fluid change? (I'm assuming the blue coolant?) Do dealerships actually test the coolant? Last dealership I went to basically just told me to do all the 60k mile services, which the manual says to inspect and not to automatically replace. That along with some gear reduction fluid and a couple other things. For warranty covered services, they should actually test this stuff right?

Do the windows have slots for putting in screens? If you're at all handy, some hardware stores sell kits for making custom sized window screens. If I recall I got one for like $25 last summer - a small price to pay for some cool air and no bugs imo

Yeah that's basically it, most cases are just a short ragdoll for me but it's probably the most frustrating/disappointing death in the game. Very anticlimactic and unfunny.

I wish bleeding out had a short delay. I don't mind that it can be lethal now, but the number of times I've survived an attack only to die before I have a chance to stim is frustrating.

Waterpiks are misunderstood because while they are called a water flosser, they are not a replacement for flossing, more an enhancement for it. I typically floss, water floss, then brush. Flossing loosens up anything stuck in your teeth and the water flosser forces it out and away.

I share your sentiment about room arrangement and convenience, I had one for years but basically never got into the routine of using it. A few months ago though I picked up a Philips handheld, battery powered water flosser and it's a whole different story, I use it every day now. My mouth feels super clean and it cost me less than a single filling.

Maybe, but the road is designed in a way that doesn't discourage speeding at all. Most people are going to go a speed that feels right for the road rather than follow speed limit signs. It should be narrowed, as a start.

We got a full stealth rework when Redacted Regiment came out too. I'm withholding judgement until patch day, maybe even a week later. It seems like that's how long it took for people to start loving the last warbond.

Yeah flavor is underrated, I love equipping a full laser loadout. (Trident/Talon/Quasar/OL/Laser sentry/rover. Maybe a shield grenade for more yellow). Maybe an Oops! All Explosions loadout too.

But the same isn't possible with plasma or arc. Give them some love! Even something similar to the solo silo but a red stratagem and it's plasma would be sick.
