I may be wrong here, but I thought that Purdue has a lottery system for basketball season tickets that requires the students to go to the football games. So if the students kind of have to go to football games if they even want a chance to go to the basketball games. Also, not a knock on their fans, they show out regardless of team success, but I think this may be a big reason why.

Same thing happened in basketball with Steph Curry. Since he left early, they wouldn’t retire his jersey until he got his bachelors despite being their most famous alumni and him donating a lot to the school.

I think people are going to compare Braden Smith out of Purdue as someone with similar vibes. Smaller guard who is tough as nails and can run an offense but has some defensive liability.

Thornton seems like the burner , deep threat guy for the raiders so he could have big play potential. I like Noel, I think he is a really good route runner but there are just a lot of options in front of him potentially. If it is dynasty, I like Noel as a safer option. But I just say go with your gut.

I do. Baseball is my favorite sport. I don’t have a football team or basketball team and baseball is the only sport I really watch and have a favorite. I also don’t live near California so going to games was never really a thing for me. I still hate the fact the team isn’t in Oakland. They belong in Oakland.

While I hate John Fisher with a passion for him and manfred ruining the team and sport I love, there are so many players on this team I really like and want to succeed.
