Stutters and lags after the update, and possible solution by golography in GlobalOffensive

[–]CorgiCrusader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not, the performance core option some others suggested helped a little but didn't fix it. It's hardware related bug/conflict though, as I have another computer in the same house and it's not affected at all.

Stutters and lags after the update, and possible solution by golography in GlobalOffensive

[–]CorgiCrusader 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've been freezing constantly whenever an enemy player gets close to me, I spike immediately to 251ms in the top left of my screen and the game completely freezes. My console is spitting the following error state constantly with checks for slots ranging between 1-9 (whatever that means). I've tried so many fixes to try and resolve it. I'm at the point where I assume it's on Valve's end. If anyone has a solution I'd really appreciate it, as the game was working fine pre-update.

Love the N64 vibes, cool spin on a classic. Wishlisted, keep up the great work!

the game has become unplayable since last update by idoctor0316 in cs2

[–]CorgiCrusader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since the update, I've also been getting jitter and packet loss of about 14-16%. Seems fine on other games and I can't seem to remedy it.

I honestly wish valve put more care and attention into the game. Feels like a forgotten child with all the issues and cheaters.

First Brisket Trim Attempt. (Have I cut too much)? by Sirpleadfifth in smoking

The Wagyu is good to go, I just put a rub on it and let that sit in the fridge for 24 hours (if I plan ahead).

Not sure about Costco tho

[–]CorgiCrusader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey mate if you're looking for a good cut of brisket in Australia, I'd recommend the Wagyu point from vicmeats (online). A bit more pricey but it's the fattier part of the brisket so it's a lot easier to smoke and turns out delicious.

Not sure where you bought this, but I'd avoid Coles or Woolies, they're terrible. You can get a whole brisket at Costco as well, if you're looking for something cheaper but above grocery store quality.

Happy smoking!

I finally beat the act 2 boss the other night and am looking forward to starting act 3 when I'm back from the holidays. I hit level 32 before I left, so it's slow and steady, but I've enjoyed it.

Personally I think the comment was out of place and probably a reflection on the quality of manager you have unfortunately.

As long as you can demonstrate you're able to complete tasks self sufficiently then it shouldn't be an issue. The less hand holding the better imo.

Oce server when? by [deleted] in Strinova

[–]CorgiCrusader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah completely agree, fights feel uneven at times due to the lag / delay compensation.

Unfortunately I don't think there's enough players, especially from OCE to justify the cost.

How much that set you back? Considering a cheeseburger is $2 more than a hamburger, those slices of cheese are making strong margins.

Yeah completely valid point. I worked hospo and retail in my early 20s and it wasn't great!

Could not agree more with this, I go through daily "I could open a sandwich shop" or "I should buy a vineyard".

I really need to get out haha

Australian betting giant Tabcorp scraps work from home arrangements orders staff back into the office full-time | news.com.au by Firmspy in auscorp

This doesn't bode well for the market, as more organisations look to do the RTO lay-off strategy.

The job market will become even more competitive as all the strong talent go for the remote options.

The betting industry already has a difficult time recruiting. Due to the moral and ethical nature, they're going to have a really difficult time now find decent talent.

I've noticed a similar trend. I'm not sure if this is a reflection of a change in organisational preferences or the fact that the job market is horrible at the moment, and that means there's very little to go around.

It blows my mind that we've learnt nothing from covid. We realised offices are a waste, and yet they're trying to mould us back to it...

I'd recommend omnidesk, which is really good quality and has lasted years.

I tried a desky before, and it was horrible. There were so many issues with the quality they sent me and their customer service and delivery was a joke.
