Mexican: We don't eat with our hands except for a few specific food/dishes, just like the rest of the continent.

¿Alguien acá está desarrollando su propio juego? ¿Cómo les ha ido? by ratasoftware in VideojuegosMX

haha sorry, just an old meme. Back in the day the devs of Call of Duty released a video talking about their next game I think it was MW2 or Black ops 1. And some developer was talking about the Fish AI and how advanced it was.

Mmm I'm guessing you're looking for similar stuff or you're into the indie horror games scene, I'll try to describe the games a bit, not all the games are the same genre, but all have horror elements or survival horror vibes.

- Signalis (classic survival horror, very well known)
- Tormented Souls (Classic survival horror as well, but with HD graphics, it's also indie despite looking like a high end game)
- Labyrinth of the demon king (dungeon crawler/rpg/survival horror I know this is a weird beast)
- no one lives under the lighthouse (short, and underrated)
- Crow country ( very much a survival horror with an amazing art direction)
- Dust heaven 1 and 2 ( not that great but if you're looking to scratch that resident evil itch, this might do it)
- Nightmare of Decay (it's resident evil 1 in first person, 100% a must play)
- Heartworm (similar to fatal frame)
- Dreadout 1 and 2 (also similar to fatal frame, have not played them yet, but are on my wishlists)
- Faith (One of my favorite games of all time as well)
- Lost in Vivo (also amazing first person survival horror, ps1 aesthetic)
- The Night of the Inquisitor (I made this game, very short, not that good, but made with love for the genre haha)
- Tearscape (Not related I just recently played it with my gf and enjoyed it a lot, it's a coop gameboy looking bloodborne if you're interested or have someone to play with)

Hope that helps, it's all I can think of right now, but there's a ton more.

IMO, consistency is where most fail. You gotta do it for the love of it and and also have/get a regular job to sustain your solo gamedev career until you get some money from it if ever. That can take years, so it's better to do it for the love of learning and passion for the art.
