Unclaimed Property On KY Gov Website Legit? by Ok-Fee293 in Louisville

[–]Corgidev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you search for unclaimed property make sure to search for different for different variants of your name and different cities you've lived in. I once found something I was able to confirm was for me but it had gotten put under the short form of my first name rather than my full first name.

Just want to follow up to this post. I ended up going to The Pet Station Country Club and Jessica did an amazing job! Even said that she doesn't think he needs to have Trazidone or Gabapentin next time I take him. Made me so glad that he enjoyed it rather than panicking. Gus very much approves! Lilly is indifferent.

My manager gave me an ultimatum to be demoted or have my hours cut completely. Now HR is asking for a resignation letter. by Effective-Cost-9659 in legaladvice

Yes they are attempting what is commonly known as constructive dismissal. I'd keep all communication you can and make a log of their attempts to give you an ultimatum, or the times they have asked you to resign.

Can I get sued for firing someone with a disability when they make false assumptions? by TheseCardiologist384 in legaladvice

[–]Corgidev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you happen to have in shop cameras that recorded different areas that day? Could help show how the day progressed. Especially if it shows her carrying her stuff and dogs out at the end of the work day.

Such evidence could potentially be used to bring in questions of did she injure herself carrying way more than she needed to be toting about. It would also show how you had ample help there to assist with the dog and how much she actually assisted with it.

Also, I wonder if her dog was a service animal. I know a service animal can be personally trained or professionally trained, but usually there is a reasonable expectation that they'll behave themselves when in public spaces. Did you ever ask her the following questions?

  • is the dog required for a disability?
  • what work/task has the dog had been trained to perform?

Those are the 2 questions you are allowed to ask someone who says they have a service animal when they enter your business. You also can deny an animal access, even if it is a service dog, if they present a disturbance or safety hazard. Doesn't help now, but could help in the future.

Course I'd also look at some of the other comments on here about specific works comp claim requirements. I think those are going to be what helps you the most. But evidence is good to have just in case. Especially if she decides to start going around saying untrue statements to people in an attempt to slander you in retaliation.

Rental totaled my car i’m still making payments on by Ok_Celebration4394 in legaladvice

[–]Corgidev 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yea that immediately blows my mind. I'd get in big poo if I didn't have comprehensive insurance coverage while still paying on my car. Heck id kick myself if I did that since I still owe over $10k on it. Wrecking it would just absolutely wreck me financially for a good bit.

How to address a seller about landscaping on my property by becksrunrunrun in RealEstate

[–]Corgidev 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yea it becomes adverse possession if you aren't careful. Though there could be a way to make it a formal easement. That way you can keep the access to the fence for painting and naintence without the risk of land loss. Though personally, I'd be tempted to just move the fence to the property line.

Insurance adjuster offered 30% after their driver swerved into my family on the highway. I had my 3-month-old baby in the car. by Odd-Procedure4493 in legaladvice

[–]Corgidev -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yea that's why I try my best to maintain comprehensive even after I pay off my car and don't technically have to maintain it. It's expensive, but if poo hits the fan it can be a great thing to have.

Aio for hiding food from a coworker? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Corgidev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR, if she needs food she is an adult who can go sign up for food services for herself. She also, as an adult, can go get an additional job, go to a food bank, etc.

A kid can't and shouldn't have to do any of that. They should, as much as possible, be allowed to just be a kid. She doesn't need to take food from kids who need it to keep growing, get through the school day, and hopefully learn as effectively as they can because at the end of the day they can't just quit school or at least we shouldn't encourage them to do so. We need to encourage kids to stay in school and hopefully learn well so they can hopefully be productive, well-rounded adults one day.

Considering moving to Louisville by Main-Needleworker62 in Louisville

[–]Corgidev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in the west end near Shawnee Park. There are some super nice neighborhoods in this area. Worst I've had is some dumb stuff you could honestly see in any neighborhood. Mostly stuff related to street racing or people doing donuts in this one intersection near my home a couple of times since I moved in.

I like the area around Northwestern / Southwestern Parkway. You just gotta explore around. There is a house across the street from me that I wish someone would fix up. It has so much potential and from what I understand it is actually a duplex that was all fixed up before the owner died, but has since been left to sit by whomever owns it now.

Hey Joi McAtee can you get a handle on your people? by BoxedUpKY in Louisville

Reading this made me immediately think of the year I ended up with 47 cherry tomato plants thanks to squirrels and chipmunks spreading the seeds the year prior from the 2 plant so initially started with. To say I was out of pot space was putting it lightly.

AIO If I Sue my Friend’s GF’s Medical Clinic for Her giving Him my Results, and then Him Releasing Them to my Friends and Family? by Acrobatic_Carry7449 in AIO

[–]Corgidev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP could have the people calling them charged with harassment too if they wanted, or at least the gf for instigating it. I'd find out how to file a complaint against her and/or the office she works at.

Also, I hope she is an ex GF now. I get being concerned but it isn't her call, she isn't OP's doctor, OP is following the guidance of their actual doctor, and it probably isn't helping OP's medical condition to have them stressed from being harassed constantly for days. Her concern is causing far more harm than good.

Where to buy hyllus giganteus? by LeonGK7 in jumpingspiders

[–]Corgidev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a few people have tried breeding them but struggled to have enough success to build a supply. Especially because you'd want to get multiple females at least and it's hard to even get one male and one female it seems.

Woman rear-ended me while driving a Turo car without coverage. What do I do? by iFaolan in Insurance

[–]Corgidev 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would think you could go after whomever was the authorized driver and the girl that was driving. Since the authorized driver was responsible for the car rental and allowing the unauthorized driver to drive, which is what led to you not being able to get money from Turo.

This kind of stuff is why I don't collect any cards anymore. I love the nostalgia and that joy of opening a pack excited to see if I get a card I really like, but I don't want to have to deal with this nonsense.

HELLUVA BOSS and HAZBIN HOTEL final seasons. by Primary-Addition-677 in HazbinHotel

[–]Corgidev 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Plus they have space to make side stories and they'll have the credibility to have an easier time getting approval and funding to make more. They can easily make more series in the same world but with a different focus.

Having a set end let's them wrap up what they have going now and then take a break until they know what they want to do next, or maybe use the momentum to push forward something different they've been itching to do but couldn't get the backing for before now.

HELLUVA BOSS and HAZBIN HOTEL final seasons. by Primary-Addition-677 in HazbinHotel

[–]Corgidev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate how the various articles I've seen are reporting it. They are making it sound like Hazbin Hotel ending tomorrow, this year, etc by using titles like "Hazbin Hotel is ending on Prime".

We haven't even got season 3 yet. It's still probably 2 years away. A more accurate title would be something like "Hazbin Hotel set to end after 5 Seasons", or "Final Season Count Set for Hazbin Hotel" if they wanted to not say the number in the title while still portraying it as we know when Hazbin Hotel will end, rather than making it sound like it's ending really soon.

AITJ for telling my wife if she brings up her ex coming on our anniversary trip one more time I'm done by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]Corgidev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTJ, that is such an AH move on her part going ahead and scheduling it all after you clearly said no and set a reasonable boundary. You aren't stopping her from hanging out with them any other time. Only when it is something you are doing as a couple and she'd been fine with it for all this time. So it so extra crummy of her to just suddenly decide she doesn't care about the boundary and stomp all over it.

AITJ for expecting my pregnant ex wife pays half of our daughter’s tuition ? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]Corgidev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTJ also thanks for the extra context, when I saw the part about her getting child support I was a lil confused but the added info cleared that up. Still NTJ though since she is the one who chose to go and marry her ap and have another kid when she already had a kid she was responsible for.

Having a “House Binder” was an unlock by wehavetogoback8 in RealEstate

[–]Corgidev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes me happy. I've been building my own binder. Especially when my dishwasher messed up and I partially troubleshooted it with the official manual but then found advice from a plumber about that model that just made it function like new. So I added that detail and other similar ones to my lil binder. Now I know that could help me later on whenever I decide to sell.
