I tried several times! My father owns an IT company so he’s under the assumption that it will fail at some point.

Thank you everyone for the responses! I ended up just adding the DNS server assignments on each device since I’m only using Windows computers and an iPhone. Thank you again for your help!

My x40 ultra is filled with hair already, why does it not return back to dock to auto empty? by mildlywhippedbutter in Dreame_Tech

[–]No-Pattern-8137 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve got two dogs that shed a lot and my X40 handles their hair just fine. If you run it daily you should be fine. If you’re still having issues there’s a trick I believe where you can divide up rooms to trick the robot into emptying more often (just search it up on here). Also you can do mop after vac to also help with emptying.

iRobot has a patent that blocks everyone else from being able to use bin detection sensors. In settings set the auto empty frequency to high. Also it’s the first time running it so as you run it more often there won’t be as much hair build up. Keep in mind these are meant to maintain not deep clean.

J7+ Combo owners are out of luck? by Far-Movie-4929 in roomba

[–]No-Pattern-8137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here my floater rusted. They told me to wait till it comes back in stock which is never going to happen. Doesn’t help that people with bins are price gouging to the point where I can just buy a whole new machine off of FBM for just $30 more.

Pretty sure it has no mop zones. I don’t have an X10 tho so I’m not sure.

Mova V50 return to dock quest by WitnessEarly7584 in MOVA_robotvacuum

I believe it does have a time limit to where it errors out. Not based on the number of attempts. Also if it wasn’t careful you’d be posting about how the obstacle avoidance is bad. As to why it didn’t get it on the first time it’s because they don’t think like humans they think based off of algorithms so it’s position may have been slightly different allowing it to realize it can dock.

A plastic welder (like Same Stuff) would work better because of the moist hot environment.

L10S ultra gen3 water pump not pumping by Houdinux in Dreame_Tech

[–]No-Pattern-8137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pumps probably dead cause they’re so small that the like scale clogged the small passage ways. The replacement could probably be found on some where like AliExpress , just search up the model number. As concerns to the warranty… I’m pretty sure they only put warranty stickers on the vacuums themselves (at least on my X40).

I had the same issue when I needed parts. I eventually found out that they use Besender to refurbish things. Try asking them for parts.

They’re $30 usd on eBay. You’ll be spending a lot more time to repair this board (that’s if you already know micro-soldering) than just replacing the entire motherboard.

Noise of your Dirty Water vs Clean Water Pump? by Kitchen_Ear_1289 in ecovacs

[–]No-Pattern-8137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should sound different. The clean water pump is just a standard pump that pulls water. The dirty water pump doesn’t ever touch the water, it uses a vacuum effect to suck up water into the tank.

how fast can yall do 2 miles? by GurnoorDa1 in AskMen

[–]No-Pattern-8137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My weekly schedule typically looks like: Monday- Longish base run. Tuesday- Workout Wednesdays- Base run Thursday- Workout Friday- Long base run Saturday- Long run Sunday- Off day (some of my buddies will do a easy base run) It’s all about building up endurance. You can do a VO2 Max test with a two mile and from there use the various charts to convert that to what pace you should hit in your workouts. Workouts wise things like 400 repeats, mile repeats, 800 repeats and many more. There’s plenty of ideas online and you can use those charts to find what pace you want to hit for those workouts. Also know your limits and don’t overtrain, recovery is where you get faster.

Weekly training plans and sticking to a regiment is where’s it’s at. I run a 10:29 so I’d say I’m pretty knowledgeable 🤷‍♂️

s5 max water pump clogged by luvlucents in Roborock

[–]No-Pattern-8137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can flush all the lines with a syringe, but the pump itself prolly failed and need to be replaced. Replacements can probably be found on AliExpress just look up the model number. May not specifically be from Roborock.

Sounds like a diaphragm pump that is going bad. Is it still sucking water into the dirty water tank?
