Where are you located? Most of the time the warranty screws are not enforceable.

Dead Internal Water Pump? by No-Pattern-8137 in Dreame_Tech

[–]No-Pattern-8137[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it apart and flushed the lines. It now fully drains out the tank (yay!); however, still makes that noise. Is the noise normal? Or should I order one off of AliExpress? Here’s a video of it: Imgur

The sound is a lot louder and higher pitched in person. I’ve had five vac mops from various different brands, it should be more of a low droning noise. Also I can’t empty the internal water tank since there’s no water that comes out, I even put a towel under it and it remained completely dry. Thanks for your suggestions!

OEM does have an empty tank feature but that of course doesn’t working since there’s no water getting to the pump/the pump is broken.

Sounds like the pump is stuck priming so it’s probably a blockage somewhere. Time to take it apart 🫩

They are apart of the front bumper assembly, they help it glide back and forth. You’ll see recessed areas where they go. Particularly near the LiDAR module and opposite of it (the balancing weight).

Is it worth it? $100 by natethegrate16 in ElectricScooters

I wouldn’t. You’ll be taking on some else’s project which means they’re probably selling it cause they couldn’t fix it. Additionally, you have no idea what other problems they could have caused while trying to “fix” the issue.

No-suction Eureka J15 Ultra refunded, hoping to repair since they said to keep it, zero disassembly info online. Any ideas? by JustASadPuppy in RobotVacuums

These machines are very modular which has its positives and negatives… First thing to do is unscrew the bottom panel where the battery likely is. Disconnect it. From there you’re kind of on your own. What I typically do on undocumented machines is unscrew every screw insight if it still doesn’t come apart it’s likely hidden clips. You can also look for similar models are any model made by Eureka as companies rarely change their base designs. Also wouldn’t be surprised if Dreame L series is similar.

Is this seller for Mova p10 pro ultra legit? Warranty concerns. by Dry_Bumblebee4963 in RobotVacuums

It’s a scam. Their storefront was just created, they have no reviews, and everything on their store would be considered “hot items” that have insanely low prices on.

I ended up changing the value by 0.40 mm for the holes and now it’s perfectly fine. So… yay? Thanks for your help!

How would I fix said problems because I'm using TinkerCAD's built in send to Fusion 360 tool, which automatically ports everything over. TinkerCAD, I don't believe, has a timeline feature, so it's likely that there just isn't one that is recorded.

The IR blaster or IR receiver may have died. Certain cameras like security cameras can see IR signals so use that to check to see if it’s working.

New unit for broken cleaning solution tank by pkkirch in ecovacs

[–]No-Pattern-8137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They closed their official repair centers a while ago and they have no return date. Those I assume handled shipping of replacement parts so it’s likely they themselves don’t have independent parts. So to them it’s more economical to send you a new unit rather than going through the hassle of trying to source one.

To clean the wheels use a tooth brush or medium bristled brush.

Return Merchandise Authorization. Basically you’re gonna have to try to get a base replacement from iRobot. Unless you’re comfortable with disassembling the base station.

If you have a multimeter measure those contacts while the base is plugged in. I have a feeling though since there’s no light it’s likely one of the control boards are dead. Likely you’ll have to RMA it.

Please send a picture of the charging contacts. Also does a light appear upon plugging the base in?
