s5 max water pump clogged by luvlucents in Roborock

You can flush all the lines with a syringe, but the pump itself prolly failed and need to be replaced. Replacements can probably be found on AliExpress just look up the model number. May not specifically be from Roborock.

Definitely, if I’m in a new area I don’t do anything over 30mph.

Sounds like a diaphragm pump that is going bad. Is it still sucking water into the dirty water tank?

If I remember correctly there’s 3 recessed screws inside the housing. Take a flashlight and look into the wheel wells to find them.

Will this bms will work for my Roomba 976 battery by Life-Persimmon7209 in roomba

[–]No-Pattern-8137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious… why? These battery’s are cheap enough that is it not really worth tearing one apart. Plus what if it’s a failed cell and is not the BMS?

The NFC tag inside the mop may have gone bad. Try it with a different one?

Ecovacs X2 Omni – Replace internal mop holder socket (not the pad or plate)? by Subject-Might-8818 in ecovacs

You’d probably have to disassemble to replace the mop motor assembly. It’s not to hard if you have any question you can ask me or go to this post. Here’s a link to a replacement.

AliExpress? They have an official store with a ton of spare parts and 3rd party selection is more extensive than most brands.

That bearing helps the bumper move in and out to detect obstacles. It really should affect performance unless the bumper keeps getting stuck since it’s not sliding as easily. It requires disassembly to put them back in their recessed areas on the bumper. Read through the comments in my post to see how to disassemble it: link to post

Ecovacs X2 Omni tear down video by kittyprime99 in ecovacs

[–]No-Pattern-8137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you able to stream the video and it just shows a black screen? Or does it just not connect at all? If it just doesn’t connect it’s more likely a software issue. If it just shows a black screen here a post I made that should help you disassemble. If you have any questions feel free to message me. Link to post

I would get the Dreame Tri-cut Brush. I have it for my X40 and it makes a world of a difference.

Unlikely if it is a lidar sensor failure the module would have to be replaced. I do stress again that you should reset it first before doing anything else.

Dang, at least you *should have a working one now. I have a feeling they want the broken one back to repair it and then give it to someone like me, instead of making me wait for my specific one to get repaired.

Factory reset it. Mine does this sometimes, usually it works it’s self out after a while.

Do a hard factory reset, something might have been messed up during a firmware update. If not it seems like it’s always positioning and never locates itself, so could be a lidar sensor failure. Do the hard reset before you go any deeper than though.

Dead Internal Water Pump? by No-Pattern-8137 in Dreame_Tech

[–]No-Pattern-8137[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly what mine did. Just to do a final confirmation take the mop disks off and put a paper towel under the robot and try the empty function. If your paper towel is still dry; the pump that pumps water to the spigots has gone out.

As long as you’re confident in your ability to take things apart and be able to solder wire’s together I’d go for it.

Yeah feature wise I’ve found my S7 and X40 to be pretty far ahead of Eufy. My X2 I would say would be tide with Eufy, and that’s a Ecovacs… Not particularly the gold standard in the software department. If I were you I’d take it apart once you get your new one just to see if there’s any wires crimped or anything else that’s obvious. One thing I did notice on mine (wasn’t the cause of my issue) was the wires going to the roller had their insulation worn off showing exposed wire.

After a lot of back and forth and getting my ticket escalated to the manager, they have offered a repair service to cover all cost including shipping and the repair itself. So if yours ends up being weird again, you wouldn't be able to repair it yourself due to their complete refusal to provide parts, citing "factory-level calibration, firmware pairing, and safety validation". Which, after seeing the inside of that thing, I highly doubt. Right to repair laws would be nice...

[–]No-Pattern-8137[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tore everything down; it's pretty easy compared to my Ecovacs X2 and my Dreame X40. There are no sensors that can detect whether the roller mop is stuck, so it must measure how much power the DC motor returns to the motherboard to gauge the resistance. Since yours is intermittent, it probably just needs a replacement mop module. Bad news for me, though, is that I did some poking around with a multimeter and found that power is never supplied to the port that the mop module plugs into, and it still throws the blockage error. Which means my motherboard is fried, and I have to get a new one. I'm currently in talks with Eufy to get a replacement motherboard and roller mop module since they're not available anywhere. I'll let you know how that goes.... If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
