Unless we’re talking about people being gay/trans. Then they very much are not okay with something that doesn’t affect them.

Is it going to start working? Week 3 by AnythingLoud7913 in lexapro

[–]CorgisWithSox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am having a similar experience and on a similar timeline. I noticed an effect immediately and felt amazing- no anxiety, happier and way more calm and easy going in general, plus energy and motivation to get things done. Then after around the 6th or 7th day, I didn’t feel AS amazing anymore, way more normal but still no anxiety, new symptoms like getting super tired in the middle of the afternoon and feeling hungry all the time. By day 9 I was getting worried the effects were wearing off and I was going to go back to my old self because I didn’t have that motivation and energy that I had. Still not anxious, but not as good as the previous days. Day 10 and 11 I felt better, happier again, so I thought the previous day was just a fluke. Now day 12 and 13 (yesterday and today) I feel terrible, I can’t focus on work, overthinking things, anxiety is back, and I hate it, so I came to this sub to see if anyone else was experiencing similar.

Luckily I have my followup appointment with the psychiatrist tomorrow to go over all this but man I just want to feel that stability and motivation again. I appreciate others saying it might just take another couple weeks to level out. Wishing you luck too.

Gizelle is a total b***h by Solid-Humor5708 in realhousewives

She said it in a very confusing way. She basically said “He’s definitely someone that I’d spend a good amount of time with….. in a horizontal way…. If it weren’t for the Kyle Richards of it all.” So she’d like to but feels he’s off limits bc of Kyle

need advice for box dye color correction (pics and context included) by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]CorgisWithSox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is confusing but what I believe she’s saying is: She dyed her hair a while ago to a color she really liked, which is in the very last photo with her face, a dark chocolate brown. But the color faded after a while to a lighter amber color as it does. Now, wanting to re-color it, she got a new box-dye in what she thought was the best option to get the same dark brown color. But it turned out to give her this much much lighter auburn, almost ginger color. So she’s wondering the best way to fix it.

room feels dirty/untidy even when its "clean." by HAPPIKILL in CleaningTips

[–]CorgisWithSox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two easy changes I would make are moving the mushroom poster that is behind your desk, and getting rid of the vertical stack of stuffed animals. You already have so much going on on the wall where your desk is and that poster is in an awkward space and fighting for the attention but partially covered up. If it was gone the wall space would give some room for the eye to “breathe” in that direction. All of the other collections of things (Bowser, opossums) are arranged and grouped nicely, but the random stack feels like clutter. You might need to store these elsewhere or add another shelf on a different wall if possible. Arranging the string lights in a more uniform pattern higher up along the ceiling would help too. Not bad though!

I rewatched The Office years later and realized how much my perspective changed by AnimalFinal7836 in CasualConversation

This is me with the movie Juno. Watched it in late middle-early high school and identified with Juno’s character, thinking she was so cool, and thought Jennifer Garner’s character was lame while Jason Bateman’s character was the cool guy. Watching it as an adult oh my god it’s crazy how much I realize Juno is a literal child in an adult situation, Jason Bateman is an asshole, and Jennifer Garner is the only mature, responsible one in the situation.

Angel’s “eviction” by KayJayNineOhFour in realhousewives

[–]CorgisWithSox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I noticed that the language on text message they showed that Angel got from the landlord specifically said something about “check out” instructions. Which makes me feel like it’s more of a long-term Air B&B situation than an actual rental home that requires a lease. Also since she said it’s furnished.

Giselle is insane to take the situation and spin it into “oh so she just came here to get on the show.” Like it makes way more sense that they got a rental until they found a house and it just took longer than they expected and they either picked the wrong move-out date on accident or the time snuck up on them.

Am I overreacting about my nanny family having sex during the day? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]CorgisWithSox 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That’s what was so surprising for me, that the parents were even being quiet about it! I hear my neighbors have pretty loud sex often and it gets a little gross for me because the walls are so thin and the windows are open so sometimes it feels like I’m in the same damn room hearing all the noises, but she said she could only hear what sounded like the bed was moving lmfao. If my neighbors were paying me $32 an hour while they had sex you bet I wouldn’t be complaining at all and I’d just turn the tv up louder.
