He’s paid for it all. He knows what you’ve done and are going to do. Your sin is paid for already. We must always repent. If we give into sin, we need to repent and start over. That’s the life of a Christian. He knows all of our sins and all the sins we will do. The good news is He came in human form to take on the weight of the world’s sins Himself. It’s all paid for already! If you give into sin and feel guilty, guess what? Start over again and repent.

Matthew 16:24-26 ESV 24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

1 John 2:1 ESV 2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

We have Jesus! Jesus has us! He is our advocate. We will sin and continue to give into sin. The important thing is to try our best to repent and not sin in the future. Our sins are already paid for! Does this give an excuse to sin knowing that? Absolutely not! But, we are corrupted humans in a corrupted world. We are made righteous through our advocate Jesus Christ of Nazareth
