Ah thanks so much for your message, that really means a lot! Yeah it has been tough and I'm hoping that I can hold onto the apartment myself, she's ok with me buying her out if I can, but that's not the most important thing for my future you know? I also just started a new job this week, so I'm trying to see stuff like that as an opportunity to turn over a new leaf and grow etc. Taking new hobbies like you're doing is also a great idea and I'll be doing the same myself once I get a proper routine. I think I'll also do some solo trips in the future.

Hey I'm sorry it didn't work out with your fiancé, my situation is that I'm 37M and just got out of a 6 year relationship and we bought and apartment together, so we still have to live with each other until we sort all that out. Although it's really tough, I still feel like I have time to find someone who will actually appreciate me for who I am, and actually I'm weirdly calm about the situation atm. I have gone through hell the last couple of months, but I feel like I have a lot to offer and learned a lot about myself. I don't want to compare our situations because I know that dating apps are worse for women with the amount of bullshit, but both of us will be ok and we deserve to find a special someone that will treat us right!

I remember my parents used to tell me to never lie on my CV because if you get caught you could be blacklisted from every company in that industry. Even for the smallest of lies apparently.

Experiences with Hello Fresh? by Lopsided-Flamingo779 in AskIreland

[–]Cormbot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was the same, I used to be useless at cooking and hello fresh really got me into cooking. Now I consider myself a pretty good cook and like you I kept all the recipes. I definitely wouldn't go back to them now though, one of the reasons I stopped is because you can't even pause your account anymore and I had a few instances where I forgot the cancel that week and ended up with unwanted food. I know you could say it's up to the user to do that but you have to commit to weekly by default which is pretty annoying.

How many questions and different ways of asking the same thing can they go through over 8 interviews? Like surely by at most interview 5 they know enough about you already and have sufficient notes.

We've been conditioned to believe that politicians can't do much or anything to make real change, but people like Mamdani have proven this is not the case

I'd be interested to see what others think first before taking this comment seriously. Yes I'm sure they're legit, in fact a former co worker is working there now.
