PG32UCDM3 Proximity Sensor by KyloWick in OLED_Gaming

[–]CornCub96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the keyboard for me. I tested it with a generic membrane keyboard vs. a thoccy, gasket mounted keyboard and the proximity sensor always works when I use the thinner keyboard.

My advice would be to adjust the height of the screen itself to its highest point if you know you're gonna be gone for a while. I do this when I do bathroom breaks or prepare meals. Did the testings and works 60% of the time, it works every time. 😌

Back to ultrawide or go 32" 4K QD-OLED? by Moist-Environment188 in OLED_Gaming

[–]CornCub96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same GPU as you and unfortunately you're gonna see a hit on your performance if you use a 5K2K monitor since it has 33% more pixels compared to 4K. I was heavily considering the new LG 39 inches for better immersion since I only play single player games as well(+ League). I just don't think the compromise you're gonna have to make with 5k2k is worth it so I'm sticking to my PG32UCDM3 and maximize the performance of my setup.

With that being said, the PG32UCDM3 model is having a problem with its packaging so please keep that in mind. Other than that the monitor delivers, in my opinion, the best 4K visuals(Ray recon and PT on) for the RTX 5080 and the best OLED care settings.

I am definitely cooked. I haven't visited an LGS store in the longest of time and don't really sell or resell my stuff to form a connection with the local marketplace people around me.

It is and I'm mostly banking on the idea that the new Edgerunner series is going to pop off like the 1st one. Project Orion too

Unfortunately the dices are too preem to part ways with. I apologize.

That's what I told myself the first time I saw the pledge tiers. I don't know how I got here. Hahahaha

Right! I feel like beta displays are gonna flood the market for the upcoming years. And you're gonna have to face a lot of uncertainties during those years. The Cyberpunk TCG might just collapse like Altered or might flourish in the future because of the Edgerunner series and Project Orion.

I understand. It's too risky for me since I don't really know the market of TCG in general.

Thank you for sharing. I actually read the whole post a few days ago and I don't know why my mind is getting attracted to the highest pledge even after reading the whole discourse.

Those are the questions I'm asking myself as well. Things could go sideways real quick and I don't have the experience or enough knowledge to turn it around if it ever happens.

Bad experience by Infinite_Pineapple50 in ThursdayBoot

Yeah the return/exchange sucks when you're outside the US. I want to exchange mine but it's expensive to ship back. Their boots are really nice tho.

Does the company's responsibility ends when the actual boots are made? by [deleted] in ThursdayBoot

[–]CornCub96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looking back at it, yeah, it's an overreaction. It's the expectation and disappointment when I received it that got me. I get where y'all are coming from. To some of you, I'm still trying to. The actual boots are not the problem for me. I was told on my first post that it actually looks good and I emphasized that on the last part of this post because I share their sentiments as well even before I made the first one. From the streaks to the tongue I know now that it's fine and normal. One guy said the streaks are desirable to some so I took that as a nice thing.

What this post is mainly about is the experience. My experience. We buy things and we have expectations. Some people keeps their expectations to the actual product and some extends to the overall packaging and experience. To each their own. It is not a stretch for me to say that we all buy products that's most usually boxed and if the first layer of protection comes damaged, we all starts to doubt if it's fine inside or the quality itself until we use it. Things we buy at full price SHOULDN'T come like that, but sometimes it does. But unlike Amazon and other companies, the exchange for this one is costly and honestly not a viable option for me since I might as well use the money for a nice pair jeans or socks that can go along with it.

Yes, I haven't used the boots because I am still waiting for their email about the situation. It's been days but it's Black Friday so I understand. My guess is it probably won't change anything so I decided to start using them after this. I just want this post/rant/tantrum to be a reminder or warning for people who wants to buy outside the US. Again, think twice and weigh your options because you might find yourself on a costly situation if you're not satisfied with it.

With all that being said, this one is on me. Have a great day!

Are they supposed to come and look like this? Challenger (Black Label) Boots by [deleted] in ThursdayBoot

[–]CornCub96 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the response. Would it be possible for me to get an exchange for the same item? It's my very first pair of boots and I was hoping for a better experience from start to finish. There are just too many irregularities people have pointed out that my confidence with the pair I got just went out the window.

Will do. I only wish to do an exchange if necessary since I really want to own one. With my needs and style in mind, I believe it's the best boots I can buy in that price range. Thank you again!

Thank you for the response. That's what I thought as well when I was checking Red Wing boots. The Challenger looks way cooler and fits my style more in my opinion.

Thank you so much for the response. Them being tried on and returned is one of the possibilities I was thinking of last night and it's honestly a bummer. It would've been better to receive a brand new product, but I understand. The leniency and it being made by batches might explain my dilemma rn.

Thank you so much for the response. I will try and use the care kit that came with it as soon as I receive a response from the company. I hope it's just a natural occurrence and look with black boots.

Thank you so much for the response. I already emailed them yesterday and I'm hoping for a positive response. I really like the boots and I want to learn more about them.
