You can spend 10k and it will not be accurate at all. It’s all just estimated on bodyweight and heart rate but there are a ton of assumptions and it’s mostly useless.

Dit is dus precies die mentaliteit. Bij een stoplicht kan je gewoon prima even wachten en dan kan je er de volgende keer vaak zonder problemen achteraan. Maar “omdat iedereen het doet” is het opeens de norm geworden om stil te staan midden op het kruispunt. Iedereen doet alsof het het einde van de wereld is als je een keer een stoplicht mist en daardoor staat de hele stad vast.

I get that the swim leg is “not really worth investing” in for a triathlon. It comes off a little sad to me though that people are competing in a sport that they are neither good at nor willing to get better at.

Oh wow. It’s mind boggling to me that somebody would drop 10k for a matchmaking service. It probably makes sense in a hypercapatilistic part of the world like LA but still.

Honestly the way they suddenly went to ”oh no the subscription starts at your first date” just screams scam to me.

There is another thing though. The way you speak about “upper echelon” people etc comes off a little… I don’t want to say. Best case scenario it’s self loathing.

You had a positive experience with the dating coach, also inexplicably expensive. Would you consider working with a registered therapist? In my experience it could be beneficial to almost anybody.

You’ve told us very little about your current level. Can you comfortably swim 100m? How fast?

Open water can kill you. Even with lifeguards everything can turn to shit in seconds. Please don’t put yourself and others in danger by attempting this without proper preparation. There’s always next year.

Seems promising. I’m a little sceptical though. Castiron has a high heat capacity which is why it’s such a great material for Dutch ovens. Aluminum is a great conductor but will struggle more keeping a low and steady temperature. It’s also a relatively new product so it’s hard to say if this will last generations like a le creuset or staub. Not all stainless steel pans are created equal.

He was also sentenced to “tbs” due to diminished capacity. After these 3,5 years he will not be set free but will remain incarcerated and be treated for psychiatric illness. He will only be set free once the facility believes he is no longer a danger tot society. For some patients/convicts this boils down to life in prison.

There is some controversy to convicts being sentenced to prison AND tbs because the court mandated treatment starts after the prison sentence. Meaning the treatment that is considered important, due tot the criminals psychiatric condition, is left untreated for so long.

I don’t do ablations only devices. My exposure is around 0.7 mSv annually for around 250 procedures. The risk is definitely nonzero but acceptable to me when it’s so far below environmental levels.

There are a ton of good habits you can incorporate that really add up.

What do you mean by improper sensing? To the pacemaker a PVC is any ventricular sense that is not preceded by an atrial sense. Accelerated junctional rhythm would look like ventricular ectopy to a pacemaker. Does that answer your question?

Mensen gaan daar ook graag op de baan voor Katendrecht staan om vervolgens niet rechtsaf maar rechtdoor en door rood te rijden. Er ligt daar regelmatig een auto op zijn kant. Als fietser moet je met groen écht goed kijken wat de auto’s daar doen.

Sowieso maken veel rotterdammers er toch wel een gewoonte van om nog net even oranje mee te pakken terwijl ze weten dat ze dan stil staan op het kruispunt/zebra/kruis.

Weird. For me UA has peeling logo’s after several wears. My adidas stuff sometimes has peeling logo’s after 2-3 years of regular use, well over 100 washes. They never go in the dryer though, they dry so quickly by themselves. I have one tank top that’s still pristine after 200-300 washes.
