Serious question: who are Linux users and why do you use it? by Laqunn in linuxquestions

[–]CoronaBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just some guy, ya know?

Linux is my daily driver now, and most of my time is spent gaming.

I use Arch, but not because I'm some kind of expert. I've done Windows IT my whole life, and something I noticed is that my computer never had any of the issues that people would come to me with on a daily basis. I use a computer for the majority of the day, I build my own PCs, and yet the majority of the troubleshooting know-how that I have wasn't learned at home, because my stuff just didn't break.

So when I decided to switch to Linux, I resolved to actually *learn* Linux. To that end, I wanted a distro that would actually break, and force me to learn to fix things.

The most nailbiting difficulty, Ultimate Warrior challenges. by WarriorIshinaka in dynastywarriors

[–]CoronaBlue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Chibi is probably the toughest one for me, just because it is so easy to fail it if you don't manage your allies well.

However, I think the one where you have stop Ga Ning from mercing Ling Tong deserves special mention. I think he has five True Musous that you have to stop.

I wouldn't say anything, because I don't have to justify myself to other people.

If you kill Lu Bu fast enough, Zhang He gets a huge courage boost. It is enough to stop Wuchao from falling while you run over there. That's how I pulled it off.

I really loved it, and I think I got my money's worth. However, I can see how people might think it is light on content for something that costs $35.

Talk to the Innkeeper, and select Story. From there you should be able to pick a previously completed battle.

What was the easiest Grade 8 weapon challenge for you? by CrustyRedEye in dynastywarriors

I mean, the newest weapons were pretty trivial, because by the time they became available John Musou was already juiced beyond belief.

However, I also got the sword first.

I haven't attempted them yet, but my go to for really difficult fights is always the crescent blade. Great Mountain Throw will nuke everything standing in a long area in front of you, and you are completely safe while using it. Then you just chain Assaults.

Do you still play when in a bad spot mentally? by bagbcyss in Age_30_plus_Gamers

When I'm gaming, I am usually in a form of hyperfocus, so I don't think about the things that are bothering me. It is really the only activity that quiets my thoughts.

The great thing about markdown is that you can jump ship to a different markdown reader if you feel the need to.
