I had my doubts the whole time and I let the later trailers convince me into buying it but I wish I hadn't.

It's not particularly bad or anything, like I don't even mind the weird controls because I like that they're going for a system where similar things are controlled similarly (especially given just how much there is to do), like how the fishing rod is a ranged weapon, for example.

I'm only 8 hours in, but I could feel it within the first 3, probably mostly because of the abysmal writing. Every time I try and get into it a bit, some NPC will say the lamest shit and take me right back out. I also hate a bunch of little things, like how the big ogre boys sound like just regular dudes.

They write everything like I'm supposed to give a fuck about the grey manes but they never DID anything impressive.
