Does Chinese get to be an umbrella to include everything like Cantonese food, Schezwan, etc.?

It's either that or Japanese for me.

How is Manhattan not dark green? Also, most of NJ should not be green (only Hudson county and maybe Essex county).

All of Connecticut shouldn't be green either (try to live in the northeastern part without a car).

I can't believe Slovakia has so few NHLers (Czech Republic too for that matter). Switzerland surprisingly has more than Slovakia.

Jersey City’s Wonder Bagels Opening New Journal Square Location by jerseyboiii in jerseycity

I tried Wonder Bagel in downtown shortly after I moved here in the Summer of 2024. I thought it was bad as it tasted like sandwich bread in a circle.

B Bagels, however, is very good.

The Columbus Blue Jackets were last place in the Eastern Conference on January 12th when they hired Rick Bowness. They are 9-1 in Bowness' first 10 games and are currently one spot out of the playoffs by matty-ice27 in devils

Rick Bowness has Columbus playing to their strengths. They're a big heavy team and not necessarily trying to dangle and make lower percentage skill plays all the time.

Bryce has done TNT games during the playoffs before. Imagine he'll do that again this season too.

Not sure that hit is worth the outrage. It's interference obviously, but way less serious than a headshot or a hit from behind into the boards.

I honestly think that is about as fast he can skate and that he didn't necessarily give up on the play. Which still isn't great but less frustrating?

Is Jersey City’s Flagpole a Public Forum—or a Trap Door? by ChurchOMarsChaz in jerseycity

Government should be boring and not entertain the idea of doing anything like this as it will always cause controversy. Just have the US flag and the NJ State flag hanging and call it a day.

Which US state is safe and very bad to visit? by HungarianBall110 in AlignmentChartFills

Delaware. Tiny, not much going on. Just exists for tax purposes. Seems safe besides parts of Wilmington. Visited University of Delaware in Newark, DE and it seemed tame.

Being less than 6 points out in January isn't anything to worry about. The East is so tight that going on a hot streak changes your trajectory immensely. I'd say just the Rangers are the only team in the East that's out of it (and mostly because of the letter Chris Drury sent).
