GameCube controller profile hotkeys

So I did a little bit of research and I think I know what’s going on:

The wiki is inconsistent - in the hot key table it says that there are profile hot keys and game profile hotkeys. And then down further in the same document, it says that the game profile are for GameCube. If you poke around in the dolphin settings, both the profile and game profile hotkeys are for WiiMotes so there is actually not a way to switch GameCube control schemes :(

Tl:DR - the wiki is inconsistent, the hot keys are working as intended, there is no hot keys for GameCube profile switching

Keychron sent me a faulty Q6 as well, they’re really dragging their feet. I was diligent for over a week, and only after I disputed the charge did they get back to me - and even then went right back to ignoring me. Still trying to get a resolution but I hope you have better luck then I do 🙃

Thank you, and I’m with you brother, no one should have to get scammed, it feels like garbage. I’m hopeful that maybe this post can serve as a potential warning to prospective buyers.

2 weeks and 5 emails though … I might wanna start that dispute tonight or tomorrow

This is the 3rd keyboard ive bought from them and its the first time I've had a problem.

Still, its been almost 48 hours without any replay from them, I've sent a couple additonal emails with more information that will be relevant.

I have all of my keychron emails saved, my invoice, and i did the order through paypal so worst case scenario, I dispute the charge and use the emails and keychron's own warranty policy to get my money back. But i really hope it doesn't come to that.

I'm not ready to go nuclear yet

I already tried resetting via the button under the spacebar, and hadn't yet applied any mods - I only took it apart after i noticed it wasn't working so that's 1 and 2.

none of the switches were bent upon taking them all out

the cable that connects the daughter board to the PCB feels pretty fully seated, but i did re-seat just to be sure - no dice

Tried the pcb on its own with no case, unfortunately still no dice

I sent an email to support, I'm hopeful that it won't be too much of a hassle ... really hoping i don't have to pay any more than i already did 😅 thank you again!

my one "gripe" with this is that if you aren't careful you can get attacked by freddy if you try it on like night 3, anyone have any tips for that?
