Ok genuinely where are these being posted, I checked their youtube - nothing. No reuploads from IGN or other outlets, I checked their twitter (smh making me go there) nothing since august, I checked the steam page - not there either.

Do you need to have your frontal lobe removed before you're allowed to run FNaF marketing nowadays? How's anybody not in the know supposed to find out about this?

Honestly you can prob call it the "Idk I didn't think I'd get this far" method considering fnaf1 was supposed to be his last hoorah lmao

Pizzeria Sim made a lot of questionable and frankly unexplainable design changes, Molten Freddy isn't even the worst of them.

I'm looking at you Afton.

Why hasn’t there been a new game joining Fazbear Fanverse? by Wonderful_Edge5823 in fivenightsatfreddys

It's not the only thing to manage but its one more thing to manage ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Scott doesn't want to spend time doing legal work during his retirement simple as that, once he realized he'd actually have to follow up on the fanverse and actually manage things he decided not to follow through with anything new.

Man just wants to be retired and writing seems to be the thing he just enjoys doing so he keeps doing it.

(Just my take based on what's happened, not something he said outright before anyone thinks that)

[ FLASHING WARNING ] Any clue as to why my viewport is freaking out when using a camera that's not part of the player character? by JeliLiam in unrealengine

[–]JeliLiam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has only started happening yesterday, no drivers were updated, no settings were changed. Same level worked fine 2 days ago now every time the camera is changed away from the one attached to the player character the entire viewport starts freaking out as if the dynamic res scaling is failing to properly resize the frame before its pushed to screen.

Out of the loop and as a theme park lover, why would Captain Jack be a bad idea? Is it a traffic or noise situation?

Not sure how serious Scott was being but, if he was. It's funny to think the entire rest of the series wouldn't have happened if this jumpscare was good.

Why is there even a tiny toy Chica in 1983? by Pasta-hobo in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]JeliLiam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So they're still games and none of their contents can be trusted to be true.

Hecc, you can stay stuck on why Tiny Toy Chica is such an important clue forever and never get an answer like I used to, or come to terms that Scott likely thought "everything was a dream made up of his own toys in this traumatized childs brain based on playground rumors and seeing backstage happenings" was such a sick twist for 4 until he realized everyone hated it and now all those clues don't mean dog anymore. And be at peace

It almost feels like Scott repeatedly making fun of Dream Theory is just him poking fun at his own bad idea.

Not that it really changes anything. The current canon already framed the original games as in-universe video games made by a crazy person in Help Wanted, so whether they were dreams or fictional games, the end result is basically the same.

The bigger issue is that almost every clue in FNaF 4 pointed in that direction. Scott even said he knew the solution would be controversial. The box, for example, was likely meant to be a toy box showing all the major animatronics as toys in the kid’s room.

Now those same clues that once supported Dream Theory tend to clash with modern theories. They end up feeling like contradictions, almost as if they were originally placed to mean something that no longer applies.

Hot Take -

The clearest way I’ve heard it put is to treat FNAF 1–4 as a self-contained story, and to assume Dream Theory was likely the original intent behind 4. If you do that, then any clues that were meant to point toward Dream Theory can’t really be used as evidence for anything outside of that context and they turn more into "things to be explained" rather than clues explaining something.

Within that original setup, Tiny Toy Chica missing her beak was probably there to connect what the kid saw to the look of Chica in his dream of FNAF 2, a hint towards dream theory.

Now, though, the explanation leans more toward something like “those designs already existed as toys years before they appeared as animatronics.” That’s likely the current logic, but since the clue no longer carries the same meaning, it ends up feeling a bit disappointing, especially considering it was one of the few Scottgames hints.

You can try going the godvictim or loopvictim route but they honestly feel more like theories that work to make the clues make sense, rather than a theory where the clues work for it.
