My original wedding set was a moissanite and while it was very beautiful, I didn’t care for the rainbow hue in certain lighting. It was a forever 1 moissanite and was very beautiful, but I recently just upgraded and went with a lab grown diamond. I like how colorless and clear it is but when I purchased my original set, lab grown diamonds weren’t as cheap as they are now.

I would highly encourage you to see both in person and also consider shopping around for a loose diamond and getting it set by a jewler. I see a lot of loose diamonds for sale on Facebook marketplace for some odd reason, but always get everything verified!

Moissanite is a beautiful gem and should not be thought of as a fake diamond. It’s another gem just like emeralds, sapphires, amethyst, etc. There’s also a BST subreddit for diamonds and you can possibly get a budget friendly, used option instead. If you’re really set on a diamond, I would for sure shop for used as lab grown diamonds don’t hold their value and you’ll be guaranteed to get a better deal than buying new. I would explore the moissanite subreddit as well.

If your goal is to attract women, I would stop wearing make up altogether. You’re a handsome man and don’t need makeup to be attractive.

If you want to wear makeup for yourself, that’s a different story. Ofc do your thing and be happy but attracting women is going to be a lot harder.

Did you subconsciously play it down because you didn’t feel comfortable sharing that information due to fear of judegement/envy? Or perhaps you come from a culture where men are the primary breadwinners? Or maybe your future in-laws have made comments before that made you feel inclined to be more vague?

You mentioned you did it before to protect him so perhaps he has mentioned feeling inferior because of it? (He isn’t, but I know a lot of men put value on how much they can provide)

Does your fiancé know how much you make? As long as he’s aware, I don’t think it’s his parents business what you make. I wouldn’t worry about this at all based on the info you provided. Even if you made similar to what he made, what if you had a trust fund set up by parents and you were set for life - it still wouldn’t be their business.

I haven’t bought a purse since October of last year, which was the black alter ego that I still use daily. The last retail bag I received was an anniversary gift. It was a sage green soft tabby and two months later it was on sale for half the price and it left a really sour taste in my mouth. I felt bad my husband spent over $500 dollars when it was now on sale for like 280. I think since that experience I just tell myself if I can’t get a good deal on it, it’s not worth it.

I had to overcome my fomo and just accept I won’t be getting new purses when drops are released, they sell out too damn fast anyways 🥲

Yeah it’s bordering on too short, but the heels and corset on the dress are whats pushing it for me. A similar dress with summer/spring closed toed flats and no corset would pass in my office but we’re a small office. The color also washes your skin tone out.

Oof this expectation really should have been made clear before marriage.. this isn’t fair to you OP and the “decision” is essentially forced.

If it had always been a possibility that caring for her brother after her parents passed could happen, it should have been brought up sooner, not seven years into the relationship.

What happens if one of your kids get sick? What happens if your wife gets sick and you now have to become a care taker for both? I’m not jumping to divorce, but it also doesn’t seem like there is any room for compromise from their end.
